  • Evening all!

I remember reading on here a while ago that one of you does a bit of business with baskets of stuff?

I plan on starting to do maternity baskets but don't really know where to get the actual baskets from! Would be grateful if you could point me in the right direction!!

:rotfl: Baskets? - you talking to us? It'll be old bags next :D

I do remember some discussion about baskets, probably about a year ago I would think. I don't know if floristry suppliers would be an option for cheap baskets ( :D), or possibly the Pound Shop.

  • I got a phone call from a lady today asking me to do a party for her. She wanted it asap and we have arranged to do it on Saturday 15th, so a week today!! I place my order on Monday, and it arrives on Friday so I will have the chance to get all my supplies in with my order. But I was wondering about doing an extra order for the party orders because otherwise they will have to wait about a month to receive their stuff!! I thought maybe I could place an additional order that evening, so it would be less than a week after my normal order. If I do that, when should I tell the customers to expect their delivery?

I warn you now folks, this is the first of potentially MANY questions about doing parties as i've never done one before!!

Don't you just hate it when all of your books are out and you don't know whether people are going to order or not?? Its like waiting for exam results to come through! :)

I am going to drop the couple of spares that I have into my local pub and library though.

Got an voucher on the books this campaign for 'spend £15 get 10% discount' fingers crossed it will bring in some customers that don't normally order.
  • Oh good - not just me then..........:D

LOL! I get so upset when I have collected loads and found no orders!! I have the last lot to collect tonight then spend Tue and Wed getting my stragglers and regulars for my order Thursday. I am trying not to add up the total yet to make it a surprise!! That's sad!

I was so organised when I first started Avon, now my house seems to be taken over with Avon stuff, I really need help getting organised. I like prepping in front of the TV so everything is downstairs. Must put it all in the spare bedroom adnd bring it down as needed. What does everyone else do?

I had it all in the corner of our bedroom but the OH had a moan and said put it all in the understairs cupboard. I did for a day but realised I would forget about things so moved it to a cupboard in the living room which I go in all the time :)
