My ASM gave me some streets to push leaflets through - they were meant to free.....one of them had books outside but I had already given leaflets to a few of the houses!!!! No idea if the lady officially has the street or not, so passed the details onto ASM as her maps are playing up. (It keeps showing that some of the streets I have are free when they definately aren't!!!).
So it could have been a genuine mistake - especially if there were no brochures outside.
Either that or she's a bit of a cow, as we aren't really meant to go posting leaflets unless ASM gives us the streets.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

How lovely that your customers were really worried about losing your as their rep and wanted reassuring. Pah to the fact that you had to do this, especially in the rain.
Picked up another customer yesterday when I went pick up outstanding brochures. Didn't think she was going to order but she had seen me walking past looking for brochures and came to the door.
Another new customer is a registered childminder and lives in the road behind me. Wish I had known this at xmas when I was looking for a childminder! But she doesn't advertise where I was looking. My DS really liked her as well.
Oh well, its good to know she's there.
She also told me about another Avon Rep who is about 4 roads down from me, so there are at least three of us within a stones throw of each other.
But 2 of my customers told me there have been no Avon reps around for 2 years and they are really pleased I started canvassing. Shame knowing there are 2 reps close by, they could have had the business.... never mind, more for me.0 -
Now my £500 target over the next 3 camps doesn't look so easy!!!!!!! Got some work to do with C11, but at least I start it with 21 more houses!!0

just had worst ever campaign - ordered 1 item for 1 customer.
About to move so may just give it up for a couple of months and then restart it, under different ASM or SL.
Is there anyone from central scotland area here? Thinking I could order from another rep while not doing it to keep current f+f?:j Debt-Free-Wannabe! :jDeclutter/Ebay/Savings0 -
It has been a slow campaign - I've only getting near my normal range of £400 as that total is for the sales from OH round as well! We're doing really with it, got about £130 from just 58 books! And 15 of those are still outstanding lol! Probably a fluke if they haven't had a rep in ages.....and pretty much all of them have ordered perfumes/body sprays! Which is unusual - I think spending the time "flagging" the perfume pages must have paid off! And OH was laughing at me at the time!
Managed to get one free nail varnish so far - but the best bit is, someone has ordered a bottle of U by Ungaro, which I got in my starter bag thing - so I can just give them that! Yippee! lolAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
I was delivering my orders tonight when a regular asked if i was leaving...?? When i asked why it turns out a sales leader has canvassed the whole street on my territory with leaflets looking for reps! The lady who told me even saved me the leaflet to show me.. Every house i went to then my customers asked about it and where panicing that i was leaving!! I had to explain i wasnt and didnt know anything about it.. and some of them were quite angry that someone would try and recruit on my territory (which i thought was quite nice actually.. i must be doing something well!:o)
So ive come home and fired off an email to my ASM... i know sales leaders can recruit wherever etc but its just bothered me that they have canvassed territory with a rep and upset MY customers and made avon look "unorganised"... and on a personal note i had to spend extra time with EVERY customer explaining and it was raining so i ended up soaked through and id had to leave my little girl at my mums while i did my deliveries so was much later back then i expected to pick her up!
Sorry i'll stop moaning now....
Sorry about the problem youve had but ive had my ASM recruit fom my teritory aswell the street i live in, luckly she didnt get anywhere with it so i was happy with that but my asm is rubbish so try not to deal with her i go through avon direct now.0 -

Evening everyone,
Have just sent my online order for C10. Always hovver over the button wondering whether I've missed anything! C10 total ended up a tad over £366 which was my worst campaign for a while, but seems like I'm not alone.
Have prepped my C11 brochures to deliver to my 'zone 1' clients on Thursday. Will be offering a freebie with orders over £15 so have included a flyer. Hope to get more/larger orders next time as I 'only' need £459 to reach Associate PC next campaign. Fingers crossed.....About to move so may just give it up for a couple of months and then restart it, under different ASM or SL
MiniLaura - would suggest you keep your account active - I know you won't earn much just ordering from f&f but will save you having to pay the joining fee again.
lozza1985 - enjoy your day tomorrow!

Loyalty cards
I designed some loyalty cards for my customers to try and get better repeat business. basically every time they order I add the total to their running total and the idea is when they have £100 they get £10 to spend in the brochure. As a tester, I gave the loyalty cards to all of my customers that ordered in camp 9 (normally dont expect custs to order every camp). To my complete surprise and amazement 18 out of 20 re ordered so I have £195 of orders that i wouldnt normally expect. A couple of customers thanked me for giving something back to them too....i know i wont be the first to try this but just thought i would mention it because its been such a winner

Hi fellow avon workers
Im on my first campaign and have been given a credit limit of £200. So far im at £145 with books still to collect. Im worrying what will happen if I go over the limit as I dont want to let customers down and cant afford to put money upfront.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
