  • Well my order is submitted, had 2 orders from girls at work totalling £20.00 and then I went to pick up the order from the hairdresser and I was shocked, I got a £64.00 order from them:T This has still been my worst campaign, but I ended up with a better total than I thought I would. I ended up buying way too much stuff for myself, totally forgot about all the internet exclusive offers I added and I ended up buying the Storm set (handbag and sunglasses) need new sunglasses and a girl can never have too many handbags:rolleyes: I also bought a few products from Hello Tomorrow 12, I think that will be a good campaign. Is there ever a campaign where you don't buy anything for yourself? There always seems to be way too many offers to pass up!

Well done Summer - as you can see, mine was rubbish!!! Got 21 more houses for next camp though, so fingers crossed! I think most of my area is covered, but isn't it funny how you never see other Avon people distributing when you are? Or is that just me?! :rotfl:
I have so far bought things from every camp! It is all things I need tho (Cos I REALLY needed the Rosie weekender and a foot scrub you put in the shower!) I am not going to make anything this camp, in fact, I think I may have lost £10 as I need to pay for the starter kit!! Oh well! More effort into the next one methinks!!

Ohh it is so difficult not to buy anything !! I think i buy staff in EVERY Campaign. I am trying to get more serious this time and make some more money to get some cash too.
When i look at the cats i can not understand how people can not order anything, I mean there are always great bargains

  • Now I know why! - the avon server was down so did not know whether my online order had gone, so in a panic I phoned Fast-trak and sat putting in all the product codes and amounts as it was getting close to 10pm. Guess what - I have now received my conf e-mail for my online order so now I have 2 orders for the same items!! Aargh!!! Do you think Avon would be understanding enough to cancel my Fast-trak order if I phone them first thing tomorrow? Don't like ordering by Fast-trak because I have probably ordered wrong items/quantities etc as I usually check and double check online! Hope they will be ok about it as it was their server that was the problem. Will give it a try - going to have a big bar of chocolate to recover from the stress!!

Well I phoned first thing Thursday morning and the only advice they could give is to refuse the extra boxes from the courier. However as we all know everything is so randomly packed that I would have to open every box and make the courier wait while I sorted it all out. Therefore will just have to return the duplicate order next time. Luckily I am working when it is due to be delivered so won't have to watch the courier struggle with my biggest delivery ever!!

Also had a wee strange Avon moment this week. Received a letter from Avon asking me to put a book through a new customers door as she had been in touch with them. Did so, and returned a few days later. She had written "I do not wish to receive brochures" on my note on the front. Why contact Avon and then be so rude about it?

Think I will put this down as my worst Avon week ever!:rotfl:

    Hi

Saw this on another forum that the answer is TTA. I think it is right!
Thanks, fingers crossed, I shall put it down. Although my last couple of campaigns have been rubbish earnings wise I have one customer who is just so unbelievably lovely I feel mean taking money off her :embarasse but I must be more businesslike!
I end up buying loads of things from hello tomorrow but I figure that once they arrive I see sense so I often return things unopened, a great way to impulse buy :T

Phew - you all seem to have been really busy while I've been away. I've got scratchy eyes now from all that reading (especially after accidentally sleeping in my contact lens last night :D)

When I've ploughed my way through a mountain of washing, I have to get my C11 ready to start on Monday. Then there's my delivery on Wednesday.......i need a holiday :rotfl:

Howdy all! - glad people seem to be doing well :D

Just to let you know I went for it and joined up at the beginning of the week, now got £89 worth of orders = Woo!! Mostly from colleagues but got 3 today collecting catalogues, that was VERY exciting! Have redelivered and collecting again on Monday (not ordering til next Thurs... late mailplan... marvellous!) but am totally loving it so far - the only problem is going to be not buying tooooo much for myself!!

Having read the entire thread I feel very clued up, thanks for all the tips and hints and happy Avon selling :)

I'm toying with the idea of sales leadership when my exams are over, do you think it's worth it??

how rude some people ... but you can still order your free anew cream

i received about 6 of these letters in the past year and normally they turn out to be good future customers as they made the effort and contacted avon but even if not i get my freebie.
ther reason why you received that letter is that that you must have tick yes to prospective cutomer leads on the order page ..thats what its about
