I stated C9 4 days before the order deadline. So i am currently delivering C9 to those i didnt make it round last time and C10 to those i did, as i started late in the campaign i feel like im chasing my tail catching up with the order dates as idealy i would like everyone to be on the same campaign atthe same time. Hopefully i might catch up and will have had everyone in my territory delivered a C10 by friday as thats when im placing my order before i go away on holiday.
Im currently putting my avon party leaflets and prospective hostess info packs together so i can get them placed in shops and my cats. And im seriously looking into becoming a SL. I love a challenge.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Hi EVERYONE
Just wondered what you thought of the new hints and tips on the training section of the AVON website. I haven't got them on my page and wondered if they covered everything a new rep needs to know. I have just started sales leadership and was going to do my own booklet to give new reps but don't want to waste loads of time if these cover everything. Any feedback welcome. Ta!0 -
Hi ladies, i've been reading through this thread for a while but have never posted before on it.
I have been an Avon sales rep since March and it's been going quite well, although this month i've had a few awkward customers never having the money and asking me to come back another day, then still not having the money to pay me, which is a proper pain!
The problem i've got this camp is that a road that i've been covering since March now has another rep posting books through their doors; i know this because i have had 3 of my regular customers phone and tell me this, and having been to pick some books up this morning i have seen that all my customers and potential customers have received books from this other rep. It turns out she is, or is working for, an Independent Sales Leader, so I'm just wondering where I stand really with regards to my territory?
I didn't get recruited through a Sales Leader; i applied through the website and my Area Sales Manager assigned me my territory. I have let her know the situation but I'm not sure if there's anything she can do about it? Obviously I am really annoyed that someone is "muscling in" on my territory, as it has taken me a couple of months to build up a customer base on this road and I don't really want to have to fight for it.
Any advice anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated xxx0 -
Anyone????:D
i think the how to's are really useful. It's split up into categories of: Getting started, Business Tools, Your Order, After-sales support and Growing you business. but most of the advice is just them trying to get people to buy more samples really haha as always =] But yeah it breaks down everything like putting in your order and payment and how to use the hello tomorrow brochures and where to find customers. there's also a section on holding an Avon party
so after that essay haha yeah i found them pretty useful even though i'm not a brand new rep

Also, with the transfer over to the new Spatial Mapping System, a lot of the territpry allocation information has been lost so she could have been assigned your road accidentally. Get in touch with your ASM and check that your territory is correctly registered to you. If it is, then the ASM should get in touch with the other Rep and deal with it.:jAvon Rep since C18 2008 (Sales Leader since C7 2009) and Usborne Rep since March 2008:j0 -
Thankyou very much for your reply Lozza. They weren't old brochures; i'm currently on camp 10 and they were camp 10 books. I have e-mailed my ASM, i know they have yet another new computer system and there has been problems with territories, i'm just hoping it gets sorted soon as i don't want to lose any customers x0

Well, in my case when i started with Avon i was given a territory, and tried to get as many customers as i could, but some of them were rude to me because there was another "avon lady", it turned up that she gave up without telling them, as my Sales Leader told me, it was "my" territory now, but with no much luck, i gave up then.
Now i have moved to a new area, i will start looking for customers on tuesday i think, i hope everything goes well.Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -
Personnaly i would ask one of those customers who rang you for the other reps book, i would then get her details from it and give her a call.
A polite one obviously, explaining that there must be a mix up as you have been doing that street for several months etc and have a good loyal customer base. You could explain the new comp system etc.
If she is new she's not going to know. I would then suggest that she contacts her SL and gets them to give her new territory as your customers are very loyal and will not go with another rep so she would be wasting her time delivering cats down that street, but thatyour willing to work with her so that she gets territory that isnt already covered.
I have a similar thing as there is another rep near me but she doesnt post cats she just gives cats to people she knows (and she knows a lot of people). Most of which are on my territory, when my customers tell me they get it elsewhere i just say, thats fine, im not trying to steal her business, its great your buying avon, i'll leave you my card if thats ok and if your usual rep decides to go on a long holiday or leave avon please give me a ring because i really wouldnt want you to miss out on the amazing offers and products.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
