Twinkliest, your credit limit of £200 is for the balance you would owe Avon, i.e. your customers orders LESS your discount plus your brochures etc. If you go over your credit limit you would have the option to split your orders - get the first lot sent to you, get it paid off then get the second lot through and pay it off.
Your credit limit pretty much doubles every campaign you pay your balance in full on time. Unfortunately, 25% of Avon's debt is down to first time reps disappearing with the cash, hence the lower starting credit limit.:jAvon Rep since C18 2008 (Sales Leader since C7 2009) and Usborne Rep since March 2008:j0 -
I only had £200 credit limit to start with "because of the area I live in" but my ASM said that if my first order was over that they would do a credit search and if that came back ok, my order would still be sent. The order was almost £300 (what I had to pay Avon) and I received it without having to pay upfront.LBM 31/01/2009: £19,422

I have a question regarding credits/returns. I did an online return about a week ago and received an automatic confirmation email. But it is still not showing online. How long does it take until I can see it? Will the amoung (£43) be deducted from what I owe on my last invoice or do I still have to pay the full amount as per invoice?LBM 31/01/2009: £19,422

Hi Panambi
I think there is a problem with the online data, as mine still shows an orders as being with the courier, when it has been delivered.
The amount that you are owed, will be credited to your account, but you are still expected to pay your current invoice in full.0 -
Well today is order day for me and I am only waiting for a few stragglers to come in, hopefully I will have an order out of it. So this is my worst campaign yet, but I have been dealing with my house issues with the flood, so didn't have as much time as I would have liked to devote to Avon. I hope next campaign will be better and I can put in more time.
Not many opportunites for creative ordering either, have probably spent my whole commission this time too:rolleyes:
As for the loyalty campaign, did I not read that Avon are introducing a loyalty scheme from C13 onwards, you can buy a pack I think for £10??? I agree it is a very good idea, so will be buying it when it's available.
panambi - I am the same with returns/credits. I submitted mine about 9 days ago and they only showed up on my invoice yesterday. The last time I paid my invoice, I paid it minus my returns/credits and it all balanced out and it eventually showed as £0.00 balance.Avon Rep

Yes your right avon are introducing a loyalty scheme.
You get 20 x loyalty cards and 5 x 24k gold lipsticks plus a helpful guide to creating your own brogramme all for £10 worth £40.
Which is good if your customers like lipstick or even if you like lipstick yourself.
But not many of mine do.#
EDIT: my additional order arrived this morning it only took 4 days to get here, i wasnt expecting it till next week, all present and correct. So ill be out tonight collecting some cash.
I have 100 cats to deliver today - up the steepest hill you could ever imagine, its gonna be a long and tiring one.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
Hi EVERYONE
Just wondered what you thought of the new hints and tips on the training section of the AVON website. I haven't got them on my page and wondered if they covered everything a new rep needs to know. I have just started sales leadership and was going to do my own booklet to give new reps but don't want to waste loads of time if these cover everything. Any feedback welcome. Ta!0 -
I might be a little late with this but I'm trying to do the quiz in hello tomorrow and can't find the answer for no9...don't suppose anyone could give me a nudge in the right direction??? (cheeky I know...but I'm not asking for the answer, just a clue!)

It will take off what you returned on the next invoice, however dont pay it just take it off what you are going to pay this time, it all works itself out by next time.0 -
