    Hello,Can you become a Sales Leader without signing up as a rep first? Also what do you have to do as a Sales Leader? whats the difference?Many Thanks
    You can start training to be a Sales Leader as soon as you sign up but I'd recommend knowing how it all works yourself by doing at least a few campaigns as a rep first so that you can then train your own reps on what to do.

    A rep looks after their own customers whereas a Sales Leader does the Repping side and recruits, trains and supports their own team of reps.

    Does anyone have a list of what free samples you get with level 1/2 of 3rd and 4th camp and 5th and 6th camp? It says 10 packs of 5 skincare samples, including Anew and Solutions, and the other is 10 packs of 5 fragrance samples but I was wondering if anyone has an exact list? Thank you in advance

    I just got to level 1 of camp 3& 4 and got:

    *Solutions am/pm : radiance, ageless & moisture (1 of each)
    * Anew revitalising concentrate (5)
    * Anew clinical eyelift (10)
    * Anew Age Repair Elixir (5)
    * Anew thermafirm face lifting cream (5)

    Now I know why! - the avon server was down so did not know whether my online order had gone, so in a panic I phoned Fast-trak and sat putting in all the product codes and amounts as it was getting close to 10pm. Guess what - I have now received my conf e-mail for my online order so now I have 2 orders for the same items!! Aargh!!!:mad: Do you think Avon would be understanding enough to cancel my Fast-trak order if I phone them first thing tomorrow? Don't like ordering by Fast-trak because I have probably ordered wrong items/quantities etc as I usually check and double check online! Hope they will be ok about it as it was their server that was the problem. Will give it a try - going to have a big bar of chocolate to recover from the stress!!

    Nope, although you will still need to reach your own personal sales target so if this was going to be done by taking on territory, you may have to travel slightly further if your immediate roads were already covered.

  • Thanks for linky Lozza - think i might have to go for that since one of my friends has ordered the kids bits anyway (which i will be having a smell off when they arrive incase I fancy getting some for my LO when hes running out) and i'm sure the rest will come in handy one way or another.

    Really hoping some of the orders i'm collecting off F+F tomorrow are good ones (although since i'm spending about £40 myself on bits and bobs and then 2 camps worth of cats i'm nearly at MOV anyway... oops) since I have no territory and no cats, i'm quite limited!!

    My sisters GF and I are thinking about doing Avon/Glamour Junkies parties, shes a beauty therapist and always a bit skint so shes up for it. I've said that for it to work she'll have to use Avon products where she can (hand creams and nail varnish for manicures, some of the foot products for pedicures, make up samples for mini makeovers etc but obviously for some things like waxing theres not alot I can force onto her) but that i'd give her 10% off everything she gets (not sure if i'm allowed to do that but she'll need lots so it will still be worth it for me hopefully) and sort out some samples + demo products myself for things i wanted to push. I think its a pretty good idea, shes self employed so already has the relevant insurance type things and we both have the same nights free(-ish, babysitter pending) but because of all this well... neglect by my ASM, for want of a better word, i'm not sure i'm enthusiastic enough about Avon to cough up for enough to make it really work. We've figured that she'd be looking at about £5 a head and i'd be getting a fair wack of comission off the products she buys aswell as any sales on the night(s). I did want to run the idea past my ASM and her say 'yeah that's a great idea' to give me enough of a boost to go for it but that's not very likely at the moment!!

    Another random thing... have any of you been to the place in Corby and the staff shop there??

    I was delivering my orders tonight when a regular asked if i was leaving...?? When i asked why it turns out a sales leader has canvassed the whole street on my territory with leaflets looking for reps! The lady who told me even saved me the leaflet to show me.. Every house i went to then my customers asked about it and where panicing that i was leaving!! I had to explain i wasnt and didnt know anything about it.. and some of them were quite angry that someone would try and recruit on my territory (which i thought was quite nice actually.. i must be doing something well!:o)

    So ive come home and fired off an email to my ASM... i know sales leaders can recruit wherever etc but its just bothered me that they have canvassed territory with a rep and upset MY customers and made avon look "unorganised"... and on a personal note i had to spend extra time with EVERY customer explaining and it was raining so i ended up soaked through and id had to leave my little girl at my mums while i did my deliveries so was much later back then i expected to pick her up! :(

    Sorry i'll stop moaning now.... :(

    Thats shocking IMO. Why would she do thatwhen she knows tahts your street. Surely if anyone wanted to do avon they would speak to you about it or ring the number on the advets.

    Least your customers stuck up for you. I think i'd be just as angry as you are.
