My ASM told me to knock on doors and ask if they've seen a catalogue lately. If not leave one with them if they want one. I'm a bit shy, so not looking forward to that.
Oh well what's the worst they can do!!0 -
Can I get your Hints&Tips as well? my email: annawoznik@yahoo.co.uk thanks
I just started working with Avon and I read almost all the posts. I read your system of delivering books, does it mean that you place 2 orders in each campaign? My leader told me not to do this as then I will get less commision, but she didnt explain me how I should menage my books. She just told me to give people for 1 week, and later give another people. But it means that when I will get delivery I will have to say some of the people that I will deliver book at the later time?!
For example for C9, I have to place an order on 25.05 for the delivery on 29.05. I gave C9 book to 30 people (GroupA) and I am going to collect them on the 16.05, then I will give the same book to 30 more people (groupB). When I will get delivery should I give C10 to group A and say Group B that I will deliver book from C10 in one week time?
Can someone please explain me this one more time?
thank you
Everyone will get their delivery at the same time - you only place one order each campaign, which can include orders from the current as well as the back issue. When you receive this delivery, deliver the orders to everyone. I always put a book in with the orders. Depending on how many books you have this may mean most of your books are used then, but then once you get them back, start working through the rest of your territory, if you use your Round book as mentioned in previous posts it will be easy to keep track of who has had a book already in that campaign. It is more important to give a book to someone you know has ordered, than to another house where you might not get it back!
As for delivering books, yes it will mean that some people will be waiting longer between placing their order and receiving it than other people will - but that's just how Avon works unfortunately! Anybody who has ordered from Avon before will be used to this, and if you put a note in with your books saying that delivery will be around x date then noone can argue that they didn't realise they had to wait so long! I normally put a date that is at least a day or two after my delivery date, in order to allow time to sort through the delivery and packaging it up, as both me & OH work full-time, and shifts as well so this means we can fit things in a little easier. hthAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Is going into shops on a Saturday a good idea, or am I better trying in the week when it's less busy. I work during the week, so might be hard.
No idea lol! If you work during the week, then probably best to go at a weekend. You could always ring up some places during the week perhaps to see if they are interested and then say that you will take them a book at the weekend.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Just wondered how many Avon products you all use? And if there are any that you have tried, hated and steer well clear of now!!!
I've been using their eye gel, radiance pm cream, radiance am/pm face wash, shower gels, bubble bath, shampoo, eyeshadow, 24k gold nail varnish, pillow spray, pedi peel pads......I think that is about it so far lol! As I run out of things, I will probably get them from Avon when they are on offer to save myself some money. So far, there hasn't been anything that I haven't liked!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Does anybody have a copy of a letter they send to businesses to see if they want an Avon cat?
I'm not sure where to start.
Does anyone else do parties? I want to start, but aren't sure about wording I'm allowed to use.0 -
