URGH! Im really annoyed with avon.... ive been recharged for 3 items totalling £11.08 which ive already returned to them!!They were in a box with 12 other items which have not been recharged so how can they claim they dont have them???!!!! Ive emailed them twice and got the same reponse that they would credit my account anyway "on this occassion" but they havent!!:mad::mad:

£11.08 might not seem alot to everyone else and i feel silly being so upset about it but my partner walked out on me 3 weeks ago and im waiting for my claim for income support to come through and so that £11.08 is 3 weeks worth of nappies for my daughter in my eyes! I cant afford to give avon it!!!!!!!

Its also over half the amount of avon money i can keep per week (as only allowed to earn £20 a week whilst on income support) so it really does mean alot as its over half a weeks wages! :(:(

I know i could ring them but im lucky to get through a phone call with my mum at the minute without crying and i have a terrible nervous stutter so prefer to deal with things through email or letter.

Oh just so fed up :(

So Sorry - I hope you manage to get it sorted! As someone else said, just don't pay the full balance showing, leave your account £11.08 in "debt" and then when they do credit you it will work itself out.

Just signed up to Avon and have been told there are no streets for me. I haven't seen anything Avon for the 3 months I've lived here.
I live 3 hours away from my family, so I'm starting to worry that I'm not going to get any orders.
    Any Ideas?
  • Yay, someone from my area!!! Hi, how long have you been a rep? yeah beginning to think that Wednesday might be the right delivery date, oh well that is much better actually.

Well bad news on many counts for me, had a flood on Thur (2.30am) burst water pipe and woke up to my living room, kitchen and hall completely flooded. The downstairs neigbour was banging on our roof with her cane as the water was pouring out of her light fittings and smoke alarms. My husband and I both took the day off yesterday to try and salvage some things. Luckily my Avon products were fine as I had put them in a cabinet the night before. Our house is a mess:mad: Stuff everywhere! Pulled up the carpet and loads of furniture is ruined.

Later on last night I had an Avon catalogue delivered through my door (first one in years) so I caught her in the stairwell and told her I was a rep and I do from my house downwards right to the end of the road. She told me this is the first time she has done my area and no one told her it was taken!! She told me she does the beginning of my road and all the streets around it!!! How can she have that many houses? That is loads! I am not sure if she is the rep (wouldn't give me her name), but someone is certainly doing some of my half of the street. I haven't delivered items to my customers yet, as I told them it would be from today onwards, as thought my delivery was coming today. When I do deliver, I am sure they will tell me if they have had a catalogue through their door. I am fuming, I think this girl has taken it upon herself to do more territory. I have emailed my SL and told her and asked for more territory.

Picked up 15 cats last night and no orders  Really need a good campaign to cheer me up!!

    Hi Summer,

I've been a rep for 2 years in September - have enjoyed it except for the constant visits to peoples houses with their orders only to find them not in! I don't drive so just load up my son's buggy and away we go delivering! Sorry to hear about your flood - hope it doesn't take too long to get it sorted out and good luck with Campaign 9!

    Hi Hob,

I would try half your houses on c9 and see how you go. The idea is to use your older books for half your customers therefore reducing the number of books you need to buy. Therefore when c10 kicks in, you use these books on your previous c9 customers and the old c9 books on those you haven't been to yet.
How about checking to see if you can lay your hands on any old c8 books for the other half of the street, then you could back order.

Keep your chin up Johanne - most things work out for the best in the end. Just remember you've got lots of 'cyberfriends' here :grouphug:

Welcome to the madhouse Hob :D

    Like Lozza, I use 3 calling books - 1 for area A, 1 for area B, and 1 for F&F. It works best if you split your areas into 4 (A & B, parts 1 & 2)

    My delivery pattern is:

    Week 1
Mon. Del books to area A part 1. Collect Thurs.
Tues. Del books to area B part 1. Collect Fri
Wed. Delivery arrives - sort & start delivering.

    Week 2
Mon. Del books to area A part 2. Collect Thurs
Tues. Del books to area B part 2. Collect Friday

    Week 3
Concentrate on tying up loose ends and making sure all orders are in.
Wed/Thurs - place order for delivery the next Wed.

Keeping the days the same each week means that you can re-use your 'collection day' slips too, so minimise printing.

People who have ordered get their new book with their order, and like Lozza, I use a 'B' to mark those in my book. For everyone else, I put a diagonal line when I deliver the brochure and cross it when I collect.

I have a list of 'Hints & Tips' collected over 30 campaigns. If you'd like a copy, then just pm me your email addy.

    Hope that's some help ;)

oh pam wanna be a sl then?

normally could take a few days as the lady that owns the site Claire is managing it on her own ... but she also works fulltime as a webdesigner so give it a few days you wont regret it
    Hello Avon SalesLeader,
Yes I'm interested, my ASM has also just emailed me and others in my area saying she's looking for SL in the area. She's having a meeting on 18th May so might go to that. I fancy doing it but not sure it would work in with my shifts and also I'm not sure about doing any hard-selling... Don't want to have to go knocking on doors to try recruit people all the time. I'd not be so bad if people were willing and came to me or via someone else but I'm not the type to go cold-calling on people. What does it entail???

You can use them up to the time you submit your C9 order.

If your current order is c9, you can still backorder items from c8. If you order online, go for regular order and you have the option of changing the brochure number to the previous one on each line/item. This means you can cover your territory with half of each campaign. You can also back/forward order by checking prices in the other brochure and ordering the item from that campaign instead thereby making a few pennies here and there. Watch out for those with extra promotional gifts, though.

You should have been given a date for ordering and delivery. If not, check the website if you have your customer number and password.
