  • I have a question about returns and replacements.

I have just requested online for a replacement Claudine watch (not there but invoiced) and a room spray (not there but invoiced). I have also requested an eyeshadow kit (not there but invoiced) to be replaced with pedi pads as I have an order for that from my mum. Also called the other day as the had overcharged me for a charm. I take it I don't get charged for replacements? Also as I have ordered something different instead of the eyeshadow, do I get charged as an additional order? The eyeshadow was originally for me and a friend, ordered 2 though, got one but not the other. I looked at hers and didn't like it, so I decided I didn't want one. Is it okay to replace it with a different product?

Does this happen quite often that you get charged for things that aren't there or overcharged?

Also is it just me or do the charms appear cheap? I had an order for 4 of them and I looked at them, but I think they look really cheap, maybe I got a bad bunch? Worried the customer won't like them.

I bought myself foundation but I think the colour is a bit light and the consistency is a bit too runny, bought creamy natural in Ideal Shade, can I return it? Does anyone have a better recommendation? I prefer foundations to have more consistency. I heard that Anew foundation might be a good choice?

Has anyone ever ordered the avon t-shirt in HT. I thought it might be good in summer to wear doing the rounds or for doing an avon party. There was a good offer where you can get the t-shirt and vanity case for £8.50 which is good as the t-shirt is £12 and the case £10. Might get next time not sure about the sizes though.

Sorry about your flood sounds like a nightmare. Also hope you get your rep problem sorted I know what its like when another rep delivers on your territory it confuses everyone and makes me really angry:mad: Hopefully it will get sorted as you have worked hard on your first campaign.

Happened to me a few times as well, very frustrating. Sooner they get a proper mapping system in place the better, then a computer will allocate the territory and keep records of who has what roads, and we hope it won't get it wrong (although who knows lol) :j

I am considering becoming an SL will this mapping system be good for SL.
How will it work when it eventually comes:rolleyes:.
I keep thinking I will call my ASM to say I will go for it but it is quite daunting. I have a 14 yr old who can help with leaflet dropping too. Do they cost much or have you printed your own. Sorry for all the questions. My ASM said there was not a lot to tell me and it was all in the business kit but that is £25 and I would like to know thing before I buy that. There is a meeting on Tues night about it but its too far for me and I don't drive. I too have been a rep for years like you.

Aaaww! Summer! What a horrible thing to happen. A little water goes a long way, and a lot even further :( Hope this campaign makes up for it.

Welcome Jovichick - I'm glad to see that most of your questions have already been answered. Please don't apologise for asking questions, as the answers often help other people too.

No you shouldn't do, I've had things be missing from my order twice, but showing on my invoice, requested a replacement and didn't get charged for them. Also as I have ordered something different instead of the eyeshadow, do I get charged as an additional order? No idea sorry!:oThe eyeshadow was originally for me and a friend, ordered 2 though, got one but not the other. I looked at hers and didn't like it, so I decided I didn't want one. Is it okay to replace it with a different product? Might be easier to just return it for credit, and then order the item you would like in your next order.

Does this happen quite often that you get charged for things that aren't there or overcharged? Twice so far for me, everything present last time, and I'm hoping this time will be the same!

Also is it just me or do the charms appear cheap? I had an order for 4 of them and I looked at them, but I think they look really cheap, maybe I got a bad bunch? Worried the customer won't like them.

I bought myself foundation but I think the colour is a bit light and the consistency is a bit too runny, bought creamy natural in Ideal Shade, can I return it? yep you sure can, that's why they have the 90 days return policy! If you don't like a product, just return it! Very easy to do, and last time I wasn't in for my delivery, had it left in my shed with a box of returns. The lovely man signed my returns sheet and took the returns with no problem.Does anyone have a better recommendation? I prefer foundations to have more consistency. I heard that Anew foundation might be a good choice? Can't help with that I'm afraid I don't use foundation lol![/QUOTE]

I believe (not 100% sure) it will be a GIS (Geographic Information System) which will hold all the roads in the UK along with who currently delivers there. It will be a mammoth task to get everyone on there at first! It means you should be able to enter a postcode and get local territory immediately. I can see this taking a while to implement!

Yes kids are great for helping - I printed my own leaflets, drop me a PM and I'll send you it if you want, it's in Word so can be edited. I have also ordered car signs (sides and back) plus a stamper from Vistaprint. I have an 0800 number through voipfone which is really cheap, and it diverts to my mobile. I know all the tricks lol!

Has anyone else had any problems ordering the free Anew Beauty Bonus from C8? I made an additional order for it, it finally arrived yesterday but without the little silver bag. I didn't even realise, took it to the customer who had to come back round to my house when she realised. Called Avon and they said that because there wasn't a separate code for the bag, they'd send me out a whole new gift including bag and I have to return the one that's already been sent. Uh Oh I left it with the customer...Oh well I'll figure something out.
Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T

    Hi guys,

Am looking into becoming a rep at the moment, have asked for some information and am waiting on the call from a local sales leader. Just had a few quick questions that I wondered if you guys could help with?

Firstly, is the £15 start up fee the only cost you have to pay upfront or do you have to pay extra for your booklets? How much could I realistically expect to earn through putting in say, 20 hours a week in work? What do you like about selling Avon? Also, is there anything that you dislike? Finally, how quick is the process between initial contact and actually getting up and running?

I did have a brief spell selling Kleeneze a few years ago but stopped due to a) ridiculous prices for booklets and additional costs for using many of the essential services b) Not actually having any faith in the products being sold.

I have ordered from Avon in the past and find them cost effective and good value for money so would be confident selling their products.

Apologies for all the questions and thanks for any advice :o

    S x

Summers post tells you pretty much all you need to know I think! I too tried Kleeneze earlier this year, started with them and Avon at about the same time. Gave up with Kleeneze shortly after for much the same reasons as you! Avon is much better, yes you do have to pay for the catalogues, but they aren't very much and you don't need one per household as you have 3 weeks per campaign so you can leave them for a few days, then recollect and redeliver, and have one part of your territory one the current book and the rest on the "old" book as you can backorder - making even better use of your books, and it also gives you opportunities for a little "creative ordering" where you can get items cheaper/get bits free :D

URGH! Im really annoyed with avon.... ive been recharged for 3 items totalling £11.08 which ive already returned to them!!They were in a box with 12 other items which have not been recharged so how can they claim they dont have them???!!!! Ive emailed them twice and got the same reponse that they would credit my account anyway "on this occassion" but they havent!!:mad::mad:

£11.08 might not seem alot to everyone else and i feel silly being so upset about it but my partner walked out on me 3 weeks ago and im waiting for my claim for income support to come through and so that £11.08 is 3 weeks worth of nappies for my daughter in my eyes! I cant afford to give avon it!!!!!!!

Its also over half the amount of avon money i can keep per week (as only allowed to earn £20 a week whilst on income support) so it really does mean alot as its over half a weeks wages! :(:(

I know i could ring them but im lucky to get through a phone call with my mum at the minute without crying and i have a terrible nervous stutter so prefer to deal with things through email or letter.

Oh just so fed up :(
