Hi Lozza

Yes you may find some of the "old" make-up in the clearance/sale.

Ive spent since tea (approx 3 hours) tidying up all my Avon paper work. Now have a box full of paper to be burnt, a box to be recycled, a folder for tax return and a folder of previous tax returns. Its amazing have much paperwork ive accumulated over the years but definately more organised now - probably so much so that i won't find anything when i need it.
Hope everyone else is getting on okay

I know that a lot of people go down the 'door knocking' route, but I have to say that I found it better to simply put a brochure through with a tick box to mark if they don't want a brochure in future. When I started a did knock on a few doors, some of which said 'no'. However when I later left books anyway, I got orders from some of those same houses. I think people will often say no as a knee jerk reaction when they are put on the spot, but may be interested if left to browse in their own time.

Whether you are a 'knocker' or a 'stuffer' is really personal choice - I just stuff 'em through letterboxes and run :D

I'm a "stuffer" - was out today delivering catalogues and had a panic because the man at one house was in the garden! :D
• Congratulations panambi, hope you are having a well earned rest, I did wonder where you had gone.

lozza, I bought the magix and totally love it, it makes my skin near flawless, even with the ideal shade foundation which although isn't as dark as I would like, I am getting used to the consistency. I am using the shimmer brick, which I also love, beautiful shade as I am not one to use blush . Recently bought the black pearl mascara which I also love, the little bits of glitter are really nice and with a few coats can make your eyes look very dramatic. I have bought the pedi peel pads but haven't used them yet, am looking forward to getting the chance to do so.

I have a predicament, remember I said a rep tried to deliver a catalogue through my door? Well she obviously put one in my neigbours door at the same time and I found the catalogue left on the doorstep today for her to collect. I glanced at the orderform to get the girls name, but was so annoyed to find an order!!! I delivered to my neighbour last campaign and was going to put a catalogue through her door tomorrow. I was so angry I called my SL and told her the reps name and that I really wasn't sure what to do. What do you guys think I should do? I don't think she should get the order, she is my potential customer and this is my territory. The rep is supposed to pick up the cat tomorrow afternoon so I have taken the book in and it's sitting here. I am unsure what to do, I don't want to give her the order as I don't particularly want this girl to have to keep coming on my turf, I don't want customers to get confused, nor do I want the potential of more orders for her, she has enough of a territory as it is!!!
It's not even the order amount that bothers me, it's £15.00, it's more the fact that she has honed in on my territory. I find it strange that all of a sudden this area is now getting Avon catalogues when we haven't had in years, even my customers have said that and now, out of the blue, she comes in and starts delivering cats, it's not on!!! So what would you do, take the order and keep it for yourself or leave it for her? If I leave it for her, it means every three weeks she will be in this area, I don't like that at all, what if she decides to drop more cats further down the road on the off chance I haven't delivered yet?

HELP!!!
Panambi,

Congratulations and best wishes! Taureans are the best!

Summer-Caitlin,

I had this problem as well. Was given my designated streets and had put out brochures. When I returned to get them the customer had put two brochures on their doorstep to be collected. One was mine and the other from a different rep. Really annoyed as I had done mine first and it made me look a bit stupid. I solved the problem by checking that it was definately my street, and then putting a really nice letter through other reps door welcoming her to Avon and explaining that we are all given territories to do and listing mine. I told her to contact Area Manager and see which streets she had been allocated. Also wished her well with her sales etc. Good luck!

I have a slight problem... as I said a few weeks ago, ASM only gave me new streets on the condition she signed OH up as a rep so I have 2 accounts to work now. I don't have enough orders to reach HOV on both accounts this time though. I've put the orders (approx £200 sales) through on OH's a/c as it's a new a/c so we'll qualify for free samples. Will my account still stay open if I just order brochures on it? Don't see why I should lose commission by putting orders on both accounts

Just seen this on the Avon site :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Hope none of my customers ask me :eek:

Q&A on Swine Flu for Representatives and Sales Leaders to respond to
questions from their customers.

Q. Can I get Swine Flu from Avon products?

A. Swine Flu cannot be spread through the use of cosmetic products unless the products are shared with people who are infected with the virus. According to the World Health Organization, the Swine Flu is transmitted through personal contact with a person who has the virus. The UK Health Protection Agency also notes that viruses can survive only a few hours outside the body. Avon never recommends the sharing of cosmetics with other people because of the possibility of spreading germs.

For more information on the Swine Flu and how you can protect yourself, we suggest you visit the World Health Organization website, www.WHO.org.

Q. Are any Avon products made in Mexico?
A. Yes. We have a facility in Mexico that manufactures products. None of the products sold in Europe, Middle East or Africa have been made or sourced from Mexico.

Q. As an Avon Representative (or Sales Leader), aren't you more likely to catch and spread the Swine Flu since you see so many different people every day?
A. Avon considers the health of its customers, Representatives and associates to be one of the company's foremost priorities. Avon has provided me with information about the Swine Flu from the World Health Organization, and suggested that I share some of that information with you.
