woo worked out today i was only making about £40 this campaign after paying for my own bits..(rubbish camp) so thought id pay for a haircut with it as havent had it done since Novemeber and its my little girls 1st birthday at the end of the month so want to look ok on the photos :o It paid off though cos the girl in the hairdressers offered me the next appointment free on thur night and i said "oh sorry i cant im an avon rep and i just arranged all my deliveries then" and she was like "REALLY?? I love avon but can never find a rep so can you bring a book in??" :D:D:D

Cha-ching!! :rotfl: I'd always been nervous about asking in there... but seems i should have so treating myself with my commission for once instead of it going back into the household or on my daughter has paid off!

I'm also happy i got the email today saying im still 3rd highest selling rep in the area still off my asm........Which means in my head im actually number 2.... BECAUSE.. i sneakily found out the other week the number 1 selling rep in my area sold in the region of £21k last year and is in the top 400 selling reps in the country. Sooooo beating her is unachieveable with all my other commitments.... so i am now happy just being in the top 50... overjoyed to be in the top 10... and escatic to still be in the top 3!:D:D:D:rotfl::rotfl:

I think I am right in saying that you can only order 1 watch at £5 per £10 spent on offer so if they are only ordering £10 worth of makeup only one can be ordered unless you can combine other orders to make the £10 up for the extra watch

thank you i will let her know.

Just been out delivering books to my new territory ... does anyone else feel awkward delivering books at 7pm, even if it is light nights? I normally go out earlier (5 - 6pm) but was late home from work and needed books out tonight and some tomorrow as busy thursday night and next weeks my last week of C7 ... just feel like I'm intruding on people evenings if I deliver this late :D

    That's brilliant Johanne - well done :T

Hate to say I told you so, but I told you to try local hairdressers ;):D

No, Melvis, I don't think that 7-8pm is too late to deliver books unless you feel uneasy doing it.

Well I admitted defeat and rang the lady who hadn't contacted me about her order yet, she still wanted it so managed to deliver it last night. Given her another book and told her I have to put my order in on Thursday so if she wants anything it needs to be out for Thursday. I highly doubt she'll put it out, she never has put it out on the right day so far! Won't be ringing her about it though, given her too many chances already. Probably skip her a campaign and then give her an old book see if she's learnt her lesson lol!:p

And actually managed to get time to deliver old books to the houses I haven't had chance to give a book to on previous campaigns, so possibly a few new customers there but I doubt it.

Has anyone else had people not noticing the free items in C6? I had a lady order a foundation but she didn't order her free lippy! So had to text her (would have rang but it was late), give her the book again and she text me which she wants. So hopefully won some brownie points with her for being honest! How can people not notice it though - its right across the bottom of the page!!!

    Hi Guys
What should I do with my old camp 6 books ? I won't be able to use them next camp (this camp order (7) due on Friday). Do i drop to new houses with a note saying ' if you wish to see a current brochure contact me ........ ' Is that what everyone normally does ? x
  • So a SL contacted me first thing today and is going to call me tonight. Pretty impressed as I only emailed her yesterday.

I have a question regarding the credit check part:o My credit is abysmal really. I haven'' taken out any new agreements since 2006 and that was a consolidation (secured) loan which I have always kept up to date. However in my stupid years, I fell behind with payments on other agreements and I am pretty sure that I wouldn't be accepted on any new agreement. So... I have read that Avon do a credit check, bit surprised about this but anyway, what happens exactly, is this a proper credit check? I have a Maestro card and no other credit cards (ripped them all up). My hubbie has 2 credit cards, all properly maintained. I have a mortgage which is also up to date and have lived here for 8 years. So any idea the likelihood of being accepted/rejected?

I would hate to deliver cats, tell my work, get orders and then find I haven't been accepted!!!

    Thanks

If you look at my sig you can see what sort of mess i've been in. I've had late payments galore, defaults and so forth, but i was accepted - MUCH TO MY SURPRISE!!

    Hi everyone

Just had a customer ring me with a problem. She bought the Anew clinical Plump and Smooth Lip System and doesn't know how to get the product out of the tube. Said there are no instructions. Does anyone know?
    Thanks.
