Those are good messages to put in the books, I wanted to come up with an introductory note for my first campaign! Do I have to order all these samples then?
I do want to offer a free gift for orders over £20.00, I will wait until I get the cat before I decide exactly what I'm doing though. Do you have incentives running every campaign?
I really like the idea of christmas cards and a little gift!
I ordered enough samples to give out a few with the first few orders, it is something to build up on, as to buy them all at once would be very costly.
I offer my free gift every campaign and occasionally lower the value to £10 the first campaign after Christmas and Easter time.
Christmas card idea all my customers loved.
just thanking them for their custom over the pat year and hope they are happy with the service I provide.
Then went on to explain ordering over the christmas period and then finally said a very merry christmas and a happy new year from me and hubby and the kids.
Feels more personal.
I have loads and loads of samples now although Creams etc I would only order small amounts as they tend to discontinue these quite regularly.
everything else never goes wrong.
But your samples while they are on offer buy 1 get 1 free or half price.Life is what you make it;)0 -
Me too. But i havent been canvassing yet
I have been given 3 new roads to try out which should do well but being a sales leader too I have been doing a lot of other stuff and it always leaves my books to come until last. I am going to see if a friend of mine will help me deliver some later tonight / tomorrow, to pick up on Monday then they can have the weekend, rather than asking for them over the weekend.
I am going to see how I get on for the next couple of campaigns but to be honest I don't think the time I am spending is worth the money I am making, as I am self employed and could use that time to search for more work.
Anyway I will see.
Yip
I am not out for a paid earnings as such just money to buy myself some treats and cut even being a stay at home mum with one income coming in make up is a luxury so this way I get it for very little work really.
I don't have a huge customer base just friends and family.
But obviously being family and friends I feel they are buying out of obligation just now rather than because they want to order something.
But we will see how it goes this month xxLife is what you make it;)0 -

For the last few campaigns, mine has been around £30 pw - better than a slap round the face with a wet kipper, as they say'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

i have no avon motivation either at the mo but need to find it as have 200 books to deliver over next few days...
Ideally I need to make double my usual sales too as im skipping a campaign with most of my customers next time to allow me to catch up with my uni work... as ive found my avon taking priority so now way behind with my uni work!
Ive worked out last campaign i earned about £11 a week myself too after id paid for my bits... looking at it like that makes it not so attractive anymore!0 -
So those of you that are making about £11 per week, is that on average or would you say this is one of your worst campaigns? I am hopefully getting signed up next week and I know it all depends on the are you get, friends and family etc, but I just wondered what your average earnings are?
I work full time so I am hoping to earn extra cash to put aside for holidays etc. Any money that I normally spend on make up and skin care will not come out of my Avon money as I would normally spend it anyway, so I intend to put it all aside (bar samples, cats, order forms and bags)
I am really excited about this, I am determined to make a good go, can't wait to get my catalogues and hand them out:j
Maybe my motivation can spur you on all too;)Avon Rep
