Hold pen with gray end pointing up.
Slide ring down to release.
Turn gray end to the left until the product appears at the top.
Twice daily apply directly ON lips, avoiding the area around lips.
Allow it to absorb before applying lip color.
Some individuals may experience a tingling sensation.
Hope that helps
Thanks CruelKaren. I will pass that on.0 -
Summer-Caitlin wrote: »So I spoke to an SL last night and she is coming over on Monday to tell me more about Avon and hopefully sign me up. She said it is good timing as I will have a full 3 weeks with the new catalogue (No8). She seems so nice and friendly, so I am excited about this as I think she would be a very approachable SL.
Anyway, I have been thinking, I know maybe a bit premature, but I have been thinking about offering a free gift with all orders over £20.00 (unsure about value just now) but I thought maybe offering a gift in the same range from which they order. Example if they order some eyeshadow, maybe I could give a free gift in a complimenting shade in lipstick/nail varnish etc, or skin care from the anew range would mean a free gift from that range. What do you think? Is this too much hassle/expense?
I want to offer incentives to get people to place an order, I think sometimes hooking them first up is the key. I know I myself would like this, I mean if you particularly like a range then getting something free in that range is even better.
What does everyone think?
I think that's a good idea - it won't cost you a lot and may help to drum up business. I would go for the 4 or 5 for £5 offers though, or something for around 75p from HT or the sale book. Clearance gift sets can often be good value as well, as you can split them into several gifts. The bag itself makes one if you pop in a couple of samples! Don't forget though that you won't get a discount on the price if it's in HT, whereas you do from the customer books.
In the long run, I think the main incentive is reliability.'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

Thanks for that
So do you think I should mention that they get a free gift if they spend over £20, but not mention what? I was thinking of waiting to see what they order and from their order I should be able to tell the kind of things they may like. I was thinking of putting in a note something like "based on your order a free gift will be selected for you personally" or something to that effect. What do you think?
I am also considering doing a mystery box at some point down the line. I got one from Firebox last Christmas and I loved the surprises. I thought I could maybe fill it up with discounted products over the next few months!Avon Rep

I agree completely reliability and continuity is priceless.
Customers love dealing with an honest and reliable agent.
I do offer incentives too but I suit them more to the person that the products.
If a customer regularly buys jewellery then I will order a piece of jewellery from clearance in HT
if it is mainly bath products then I order them one of them.
I do have a supply of free gifts, creams and toiletries and then jewellery and also have a few makeup products.
I tend to check out my orders and if 2-3 orders accumate a free gift I will order it and add it to my free gifts.
for example makeup products buy 2 get a 3rd free
2 customers order 1 each I order the free gift and put it by.
You know your own customers, but in my experience customers appreciate and love any freebie they get. :TLife is what you make it;)0 -

1st messageI am Karen your Avon Rep, Thank you for browsing this brochure and hope you like what you see.
If you would like to sample a lipstick or perfume, skincare range product before you buy please just ask, I have many products in samples and am more than happy to let you try before you buy.
I do offer with each order a few samples usually a lipstick, 2 perfumes and one skincare product if you would like to order one of the samples from your last order just ask I keep note of who got what samples so you are not getting the same one ever order.

If you would like to see the next campaign
Please feel free to call me on

I will drop in a brochure and pick up at a time convenient to you & deliver your order when its convenient for you to pay for it.
No hard sell
I do offer incentives, free gift when you spend over £15, and other special offers too.Obviously I only put these in new customers brochures and then every 4th or 5th campaign to remind customers.
I also send personalised Christmas cards saying thank you with a free gift mirroring their purchases throughout the year.
I do like to keep a good approach and don't push for sales.
also remind customers they can back order, incase they have a bad month and can't afford it but seen something the really like they can order it next month.Anyway good luck xxLife is what you make it;)0 -
Hi
I have quite a few outstanding books to get back from people who I have already reminded to leave out today. This means I will have to knock for them as I need them back. I was wondering as I can't go out this evening I was going to knock tomorrow but as It's Good Friday wondered should I wait till Saturday? Will I annoy people by going tommorrow ? I also have 2 orders to get rid of too.0 -

I would think Friday would be fine,
I know me personally I would prefer not to be disturbed over my weekend.
Good Friday is not always recognised by companies now so many people may be working anwayLife is what you make it;)0 -
Thanks CruelKaren
Those are good messages to put in the books, I wanted to come up with an introductory note for my first campaign! Do I have to order all these samples then?
I do want to offer a free gift for orders over £20.00, I will wait until I get the cat before I decide exactly what I'm doing though. Do you have incentives running every campaign?
I really like the idea of christmas cards and a little gift!Avon Rep

Well my motivation this month is non existant either
I feel like I am pulling teeth,
Me too. But i havent been canvassing yetI have been given 3 new roads to try out which should do well but being a sales leader too I have been doing a lot of other stuff and it always leaves my books to come until last. I am going to see if a friend of mine will help me deliver some later tonight / tomorrow, to pick up on Monday then they can have the weekend, rather than asking for them over the weekend.
I am going to see how I get on for the next couple of campaigns but to be honest I don't think the time I am spending is worth the money I am making, as I am self employed and could use that time to search for more work.
