    Hi everyone

Just had a customer ring me with a problem. She bought the Anew clinical Plump and Smooth Lip System and doesn't know how to get the product out of the tube. Said there are no instructions. Does anyone know?
    Thanks.

Hi I had someone order it too and took us a few minutes to work it out :P

Hold pen with gray end pointing up.
    Slide ring down to release.
Turn gray end to the left until the product appears at the top.
Twice daily apply directly ON lips, avoiding the area around lips.
Allow it to absorb before applying lip color.
Some individuals may experience a tingling sensation.

    Hope that helps ;)

Well my motivation this month is non existant either
I feel like I am pulling teeth,
Last campaign I had a rubbish amount of orders due to our car being off the road and missing almost a week of the campaign.
This month is slightly healthier but not much.
One of my customers has put in a £60 so I have ordered £7 of make up from HT9 and ordered the watch at £3.70 as her free gift. still gives me over £10 in commision but gives her a fab incentive to reorder with me :)
The rest of my orders are not so great but they do add up I suppose.
    So far I have
    7 orders = £112.00
have another 7 books still to get feedback from ( wither they order or not I don't know )
But starting to lose heart, Think I might stop Avon for a few months and start it up again around September time in the christmas run up.
I already offer a lot of incentives give out at least 5 samples with every order - all orders over £15 get a free gift usually a naturals collection or senses product but if the order is considerably more I do mirror that in the gift given.
I suppose it is one of those things tho eh?
ach well fingers crossed my other 7 books give me the same amount and I will be happy.

    Hi,

My first post on this forum, so Hello!!

Re: how the boxes are packed. I too have been very embarrassed to give customers make up and perfume in bashed up boxes. I took over an established round from my neighbour. She visited Corby on several occasions and apparently the boxes trundle along on a conveyor belt and stop at the appropriate product number, which is then launched 'vending machine style' into the box. And there was me thinking they employed pickers and packers....

Not doing too badly sales-wise. C7 order going in today with £305 of orders. Will be recanvassing one of my roads with the C7 books I have left. I too find it hard to motivate myself, particularly when the children are off school and have to come out canvassing with me.

I tried a 'prize draw' this campaign. I'd accumlated a few make up, fragrance and SSS bits over the past few months, so I offered a chance to win one of three prizes with any order over £10. 12 out of 20 orders qualified for the draw, so fairly pleased with that.

Good luck to all with your sales campaigns.

i'm v surprised to hear that the stuff isn't packed by people.you'd expect it not to be bashed if it's done by machine.when i first did avon a fair few years ago i don't remember packaging being bashed and battered

  • So I spoke to an SL last night and she is coming over on Monday to tell me more about Avon and hopefully sign me up. She said it is good timing as I will have a full 3 weeks with the new catalogue (No8). She seems so nice and friendly, so I am excited about this as I think she would be a very approachable SL.

Anyway, I have been thinking, I know maybe a bit premature, but I have been thinking about offering a free gift with all orders over £20.00 (unsure about value just now) but I thought maybe offering a gift in the same range from which they order. Example if they order some eyeshadow, maybe I could give a free gift in a complimenting shade in lipstick/nail varnish etc, or skin care from the anew range would mean a free gift from that range. What do you think? Is this too much hassle/expense?

I want to offer incentives to get people to place an order, I think sometimes hooking them first up is the key. I know I myself would like this, I mean if you particularly like a range then getting something free in that range is even better.

    What does everyone think?
