hi,
my sister in law has just started avon [1st book]shes on book 9.Shes had to customers ask if they can order two of the oasis watchs for the offer price of £5 when they have spent just 1 £10 on make up as it does not say only one per £10 spent.Does anyone know if this is allowed as her turnaround for this book is thursday this week and see will not see her sales leader untill the order has to be in thanks.
I think I am right in saying that you can only order 1 watch at £5 per £10 spent on offer so if they are only ordering £10 worth of makeup only one can be ordered unless you can combine other orders to make the £10 up for the extra watch0 -
Quick question about additional orders. Does an additional order get added onto your current order for commission or do you have to meet the min order value to gain commission on it?0

hi it doesnt get added on to your current order if youve put it as an additional as you pay £2.50 for additionals so if you wanted commision it needs to meet the mov.0 -

I had the same problem to on 3/4 streets that were allocated it was sorted out but im not bothering with the other street any more!
What i do is the work my butt off gettin the people on your side. Alot of my customers would only order from me. .. .
i always put samples in, lil discounts (10% off if you show to a relative or friend) also someone once left their keys outside i popped a note through the door and BAM an order lol obv you cant make this happen lol
Just peserve with it! I pop in little flyers about a5 size one side with the headings under £1.50 , 2.50, 3.50 it seems to work then on the other side i put all the great offers like the 4 for £5, free gifts, bargins!
Hope this helps chick and stick with it

Hiya Guys and girl's.
I have been told that this might be the best place to ask for some information RE: Starting Avon.
I have started doing betterware at the beginning of the month, After applying with Avon to become a sales leader.
They did not have any opening's hence why i started betterware.
Well last night i got an email about the avon position opening started in the middle of this month. And a rep would like to come and visit me, The only problem is i cant seem to get an info i need before commiting to something i cant afford or have the time to do...
I asked the rep for further information before giving over my private detail's and i have heard nothing back.
Can someone please tell me..Anything known about becoming a sales leader?
What % they are on,
Hour's needed to be put in, ect..
Many thanks in advance!Future goals:
Become debt free.
Beat Depression.
Be happy & healthy0 -
I am also after a bit more info on the whole Avon thing.
I live in a street and area that has a lot of 2 up 2 down (so 4 to a block) flats. So if I was assigned a whole street, I would have loads of flats to deliver too. Obviously each flat would need 4 books but that sounds like a hell of a lot of books I would need, how much do books cost me and when I collect the books, what do I do with them? Are they useless?
I would definitely like to sign up and give it a go, but I am trying to get in contact with my colleagues friend who hands in her book to my work. I don't like the idea of not being able to have my colleagues as customers as they are already with an outsider. If this woman signes me up, does she get commission on my sales? Was thinking of using this as a foot in the door to start putting myself forward as the Avon rep for my work. What do you think?
Also am I right in thinking that if I don't get over £78 of orders I get nothing?
ThanksAvon Rep

in the latest round with trying to get houses my ASM was first contacted last Thursday and i'm still waiting an answer about more territory.for my 1st campaign last month i was given 68 houses ( out of those one was my house, another does avon for FF and the other is empty).the majority of the area is old folk ( mainly blokes actually) who just don't want it.i've taken to knocking on doors round my end and asking people if they get to see a book-that way IF somebody is already doing avon i'm not stepping on their toes.when i do get more houses because of where i live i'm pretty certain it'll be more old folk.was lucky with my first campaign but to keep it up i defo need more houses cos you can't expect the same people to order every month0

couple of answers for people...
Re Websites : Your not allowed your own website unfortunetly. Avon are being a bit lax at the moment, so there are loads out there but usually all websites etc have to be passed by the avon legal team!
Re Books: They cost approx £4.80 for the first 15 books you order, then about 50p for every 5 books after that. You can use your books for the full 3 weeks of each campaign, and then again on the next campaign if you "backorder" so you use them for 6 weeks, then you need to dispose of them yourself.
Re signing up: A normal rep wont sign you up, unless she is also a "sales leader"... in that case she would earn a small commission off you. But it costs £25 to become a sales leader and she would need at least 4 other reps in her team and you all to place and order over £78 to get her commission.
Re Sales leadership: Please see above, not sure on the commission levels as im not one myself.. but if you google it im sure you'll find it.
sorry if that doesnt make sense... or ive missed anyone/anything.0
