Can someone please remind me of the Far Away money maker, we have got 7 of them delivered and they all say free on the invoice, my wife ordered them when she got a promo phone call and we cant find the HT book, i know they are meant to be sold for £5 each.
When do we have to pay for it and how many are free
I also had that phonecall, didn't order any mind you, but I £3 or £3.50 rings a bell - but don't quote me on it I wasn't paying much attention at the time lol!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Anyone know what I should do about not being able to get the buy 4 for £4 offer on skin so soft to work?
I am not a rep, so order on the online site for customers, I order on behalf of a small group of us. However, today is the first day for ordering from the C7 brochure online, but I need to order 2 lots of the 4 for £5, but when I put the sep codes in, it doesnt automatically recalculate like it normally does. Tried doing it via the menu and found the products that way, but then it says oops page does not exist!!!!
Any way around this, or do I need to wait until later/ tomorrow???0 -
I'd say try tomorrow? I don't see why it wouldn't work, if the offer is showing up on the website then it should let you order it!!!Or maybe email them about it - perhaps there is a "bug" on the site which they haven't sorted yet.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Thinking of ordering the rep calling cards this time, so far we've been ordering postcards from vistaprint and having a message printed them, they look really nice but are obviously more expensive than the avon calling cards - could anybody tell me the rough size of the cards & what they look like? ie, are they business card sized or larger? and what is written on them? Ta very much if anybody can help xAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

The calling cards are yellow and are a little bit smaller than a postcard not much they say avon at top and have two boxes to tick one says deliver your order oan other is to collect your order then at the bottom it says i will call again in the next few days or call me then a square for you to write details and says thankyou your avon representative they are well worth ther money

just been out to collect brocures from one of my new roads and got 1 order
out of 30 houses only afew did tick they didnt want another book which was good the one order i did get hadnt put there address on but no which house it was these new order forms are no good:mad: this keeps happening no name or address on the one order has ordered some thing which is bogof but has not put it on she wants two of the same would you tell them and loose £5 or a freebie or would you tell her will shes new she may have seen it and be testing me if not it will make me look good:cool: i think i will tell her what do you think0 -
Cheers! They sound pretty useful
Want some more advice - I have 2 deliveries that I couldn't deliver when I went on Wednesday - I went within the 2 hour slot that I'd put on the letter that I pushed through about a week before, with phone number & email address so people can contact if the time is suitable, which lots of people were really good and did let us know.
For these 2 orders, one is on our street and it is the first time they have ordered, spending £10 - they still haven't rung, but I suppose they could be thinking well she can see when we are in she should come down and try again. Which I don't mind as such - but annoying when they didn't let you know that they wouldn't be in originally. What would you do???
The other order is for a lady who I have had trouble with from my first campaign - struggled getting the first book back off her, she asked for another, gave her one on the next campaign, again struggled getting it back, though she did order £2.50, but struggled delivering the order, on this campaign - even after pushing a note through saying order deadline is Thursday (little lie it was Tuesday lol, though I normally submit on a Sunday), she still didn't put it out, ended up having to ring her Thursday night just to check, yes she had an order had forgotten to put it out and she left it out on the Friday. Again I gave her a letter the week before delivering saying when I was coming, she wasn't in - and she hasn't rang either! I have a phone number for her, but she doesn't have an answering machine or would have to keep on trying until caught her in - what would everyone else do? The order is for £10.50 - do you think I should just wait for her to call me? Or try again after the weekend and if no success perhaps leave another letter?
Very irritating as it is a lot of effort every single time, going there over and over to get the book, and then again to deliver - the amount of her orders doesn't bother me (though would be different I suppose if it was £50 orders lol) - do you think if I have no success this time just to return her products and not give her a book again???

I'd say definately tell her if it is bogof! I had to do that with a manager at my work lol but she was obviously very pleased. :T
When it's cases of people not noticing that something is in a 2 for £5 and they are spending say £3 or £4 I haven't told people, for the simple fact that I have done so before and that person just cancelled the order completely (had to put a letter through the door explaining as they weren't in, and didn't give a telephone number). So in those cases I order something to keep in stock for a freebie or for myself.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
