i know vistaprint has been mentioned on here in the past but can i ask if anybody has had the free rubber stamps from them are they any good? really fed up with writing on order forms and there seems to be a lack of stickers that you can put your details on.last time i did avon i bought some from ace gifts and cards but i've looked and they don't do them now

Do you mean the ones with the built in ink pad? If so, I bought a couple of those and they seem pretty good - but I have only got the words "paid" on one, and "tomorrow" on the other, don't know how good they would be if you had little writing on them in order to fit more text on. Definately might be worth giving it a try though. I also got some stickers from a poundshop, and some of ebay, for printing my details onto though I have to admit my OH does that for me cos I'd probably mess it up! Some people on ebay will print them for you though.

There's lots of different sellers doing them, and they aren't too expensive either, especially as you can buy in bulk to for some of them.

I got the free pad off vistaprint too, so I would think it was the same one with a built in ink pad.

yes been looking.why do these sellers have to use bloody mm's and not inches? what sort of size should i be looking for? just want my name, moby number and email addy on.some of them seem quite big (63.5mm x 38mm)

seen some smaller ones which seem to fit the bill?

Yeah those ones look good! I use bigger ones myself, but only because OH likes to have a piccy on it to in order to make it more recognisable as being from us (he's a bit paranoid bless him!) if not I would use that kind of size as those little ones should fit nicely onto the order forms.

Lol OH has admitted defeat and rang the person who had ordered in our street.....lady has lost her job so obviously doesn't want to have her stuff anymore. Which is fair enough - though OH sounds very sceptical and reckons they've made it up. But at least I know now I can send that stuff back.

Just going to give the other lady a little longer, then might try ringing her although I know she doesn't have an answering machine and if no success I'll cross her off my list!

i was looking at the ones with pics to start off with but they weren't in huge quantities like those mini ones.

Yay the forum's back up :D

Had a nice surprise earlier, a lady came and popped her avon book through the letterbox (should be collecting it tomorrow) and there's an order for £25 :D Had to ring and leave a message though, as she's ordered a cherry bubble bath from C7 leaflet which says 1litre but is actually only 500ml! I wonder who they have typing up the avon books sometimes with the amount of things that they put the wrong code for or the wrong description!

I had the rubber stamp - it's OK, but very small print. Most of their stuff is fine - I have the business cards and the fridge magnets (to make sure customers can't lose my contact details!) :p

PS HOORAY, we're back - I've missed you lot :-)

talking about wrong codes.does anybody read their messages on the avon site? i looked yesterday and had one but can't remember offhand when it came.i'd av been totally stuffed if i'd had to order whatever it was cos i hadn't seen the message.had 3 messages about amount of boxes not meaning boxes but items and i just got totally confused.

i was wondering about the writing.when i looked at those mini stickers ( i posted the link on friday) i thought maybe it would be too small for the older customers-so i still haven't decided what to buy.i've missed this place too
