Thanks Kerrie, my SL is on holiday, so will have to wait, I think she is back soon though.

Wow I am so busy - my order arrived yesterday and I have 17 boxes to check off. My final total for camp 15 was £914 so this is gonna take me a while i think.
I've got my first 2 sign ups tomorrow and my ASM coming to check my paperwk on Tues. Then am going prospecting for the first time on Wed.
Ive got to deliver/collect my orders Monday - and need to get my camp 17 books ready for then as am one stop selling now.
I had my party last night and only 2 people turned up so was a giant flop as expected - But - one lady took 5 books and said she works in a large office with lots of women so she'll take them to work - so not all bad.
Does anyone know how soon after you have been tagged as a SL you can use the SL website??
Pippa
OMG!!! WOW!!! I do believe that is the highest order I have read about on this and the last avon thread - amazing! How did you do it? Can I ask how big your territory is, how many houses? I wouldn't mind at all having avon products coming out of my ears for 30% of that total!! Congrats, and good luck with your prospecting.

Does anyone know the shade of the free lip gloss that's shown on page 37 of C15? A customer likes it and we can't quite figure out which shade it is!

I dont think you could work out which one the big picture is - I would advise her to choose one and then quote the Avon guarentee to her 'If you dont like it when u have tried it I will order you a different shade' - or order two and let her try then claim credit for the one she doesnt want and send it back.

Agreed - customer loyalty is earned by being as helpful as possible. I will have mineral make-up coming out of my ears this month - I am ordering tons because everyone is umming and arring over what shade they need. So I'm going to let people try for themselves! I'll send the surplus back - it's either that or mess around with exchanges anyway. The one thing you DON'T want with free gifts is for it to sit in a drawer somewhere. You want them to like it, use it, then buy some more!
I gave a customer a free lippy for spending over £25 when I first started. It was an Anew one in Modest Mauve that was supplied by my ASM. She loves it so much she has ordered a few more in C15 and her neighbour has also ordered one. So, if you can make the special offers work for you long-term rather than as a quick-sell, it can really help your business.
It's also worth putting a 'wanted' up on the website if a customer mentions an old product. I've just managed to get hold of a perfume for one lady that was discontinued before I was born! When I called round to tell her, she cried and then hugged me. So I think she's a bit happyand I'm pretty sure she'll be buying all her Avon from me forever now!
Pippa, I can't remember how quickly my website became an SL one, but it wasn't long, a week at most - it just happened on Sunday morning with no prior warning! By the time my ASM came round to show the different functions I knew my way round better that her :rotfl:And I've said it before but I'll say it again, your personal sales are AMAZING!
Kat, I'm trying for senior exec within 18 campaigns, not 18 months  I know I won't manage it, but I want to give it my best shot before I fail, I figure that by that time I'll have a pretty good business anyway
Am I the only one whose life is being slowly overrun by Avon? I am seriously going to have to start pencilling in times to do chores and socialise - it won't happen otherwise! This week I have my last big stab at C15 sales, I've got to try and catch a load of students as new recruits, I have the pub party to arrange, and I have sign-ups and second visits to attend! I so need to learn to drive... either that or teach the cat to do Avon for me. What did I used to fill my time with six weeks ago?!0 -

Its so infuriating isn't it. I've come across at least 3 other people posting on my patch. My ASM does nothing about it though saying its probably their neighbours. A whole road doesnt constitute 'neighbours' to me. Luckily all my regulars see them off generally! One I gave a polite phonecall to as her number was on a book that I picked up. She hasnt been back!0 -
I guess that's the problem now they're really pushing the multi-level marketing.
The lady who's going to sign me up on Tuesday asked if I'm happy to go door to door, when I said I'm not sure she said she's got a small area left which I can do as a rep.
Thing is, if she's only got a small area left, how am I supposed to sell being an Avon rep to other people, knowing there's nowhere for them to sell?0
