I did a newsletter too! I found it really helped break the ice - I introduced myself, promoted special offers, did a Q and A section and had all my order/delivery info in one place. I've had a really good response to it and would advise you guys to try it.

I've got my first ever Avon party next Saturday and am a bit nervous, if any of you have had a successful party would you mind sharing some hints and tips with a newbie?

Is anyone else having trouble paying their balance online? I tried before my hols and again today and get the following message:

Sorry, there has been a problem processing your payment.
Not a valid allowed URL

Wow I am so busy - my order arrived yesterday and I have 17 boxes to check off. My final total for camp 15 was £914 so this is gonna take me a while i think.
I've got my first 2 sign ups tomorrow and my ASM coming to check my paperwk on Tues. Then am going prospecting for the first time on Wed.
Ive got to deliver/collect my orders Monday - and need to get my camp 17 books ready for then as am one stop selling now.
I had my party last night and only 2 people turned up so was a giant flop as expected - But - one lady took 5 books and said she works in a large office with lots of women so she'll take them to work - so not all bad.

Does anyone know how soon after you have been tagged as a SL you can use the SL website??

I had no problem when i paid mine last about 10 days ago.

I am doing avon now, signed up last week, I have got to put my orders in by 7th of Oct and I haven't even been told my streets yet! can't get hold of SL! I have got orders from friends and family of £70 so far though so I am pleased about that!:j

My customer base is about 95 already - through sheer hard work canvAssing and recanvassing - although not everyone ordered. I had a couple of big orders in that - one for £70ish quid and another fro £60ish quid. I think I had about 50/ 60 orders. It has its downside though - I am head to toe in avon products at the mo - My dining room and my kitchen and my office are just covered in Avon!!!:eek:
