    Hi Donnie/everyone else :)

I was hoping a good deal on the MSI CRXXXX came round agian but I'm out of thime now and need to get a new laptop.

What's the best 15-16in Laptop offer at the moment between £250-300?
    The Toshiba L450D-11W mentioned above?

    Thanks!!!

Hmmmmm....clearly if I posted it, I thought it was a good deal. I guess you missed out.

I held out in posting them as I wanted people who were waiting to be able to grab them first.
The ASUS would be good if it had a webcam. I can't see that it does.

Tech Furb are the online refurbished Dixons store

Does anyone have any experience of their customer service? I know DSG doesn't have a very good reputation for customer service.

Does anyone have any experience of getting refunds/replacements for non-faulty or faulty items?

It looks like they'll only refund if it's faulty, unlike Argos clearance. Does anyone have any experience of getting refunds/replacements for faulty items?

Why not read the T&Cs? You have the same 7 day 'no quibble' return entitlement.

Sorry Donnie, I did read the T&Cs but only saw the "faulty" section it seems. They're certainly not as clear about it as Argos for example. Post edited to save any confusion.

Does anyone have any experience of customer service or returns with this seller? The feedback on ebay is good, with a few examples of items being incorrectly sold as "new"

    That is true. :)
Either way, if you are not happy with it within those seven days, give it back to them. :)

You seem to know your stuff Im looking for the best laptop I can get for around £300 with hdmi and a webcam.

I dont know much about laptops but from the discussion the

    Toshiba L450D-130

    seems perfect for me.
It says its new or is it a matter of debate?

I want to buy this immediately (subject to better deals materialising)

    Thanks for the help!

I know nothing about this machine. I'm guessing AMD Sempron SI-42 Processor, 2 GB RAM...

    It's just a cheapie.

Since I know nothing of the source, you can't expect me to recommend it.
