An alternative is this DELL Inspiron M301z for £399. Not the greatest value on the surface, but it does come with a three year warranty and an external DVD Writer. Also a slightly better processor, a larger screen(13.3") and Bluetooth.
So if all of that is worth an extra £70 to you..

    You have a private message.

You got a Dell Inspiron 1370 13z for £250? Sounds good. Maybe you can provide a link for others to see too.

does this seem like an OK deal?

I *think* it has everything I need, only thing I can't see is a built in mic??

Only thing I am a bit ??? by, is it's referred to as a laptop, then in the next paragraph a notebook??
