An alternative is this DELL Inspiron M301z for £399. Not the greatest value on the surface, but it does come with a three year warranty and an external DVD Writer. Also a slightly better processor, a larger screen(13.3") and Bluetooth.
So if all of that is worth an extra £70 to you..

You got a Dell Inspiron 1370 13z for £250? Sounds good. Maybe you can provide a link for others to see too.0 -

AMD Turion II Dual-Core Mobile M500 (2.2GHz, 800MHz, 1MB Cache)
Genuine Windows (R) 7 Home Premium
4GB RAM Memory
320 GB Hard Drive
15.6" Widescreen Laptop Screen
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Graphics
DVD Super-Multi DL Optical Drive
3-in-1 card reader,
VGA TV Out,
4 USB
3.5 hours Battery life
New.
Don't see webcam or HDMI in the specs, so only for those who don't need those functions.
So just ok value at £3060 -
