Sods law but mine has not turned up :mad: I have the tracking number but when I use it on dhl site it shows my order In transit to delivery depot17/09/10 at 18:22 HATFIELD TERMINAL and thats all , so have contacted dhl who say contact seller but could not tell me if or what had happened or what is happening :mad: , I now have emailed as got no answer by phone as think they closed before I got in from work at 5 , so just have to wait and see what's what but just hope it turns up safe and sound but don't have a clue

Thats life Donnie but I only hope that this aint going to turn into a saga for me as I really just want I ordered and hopefully argos ebay clearance can shed some light on this tomorrow if I can get through to them on the phone

I'm sure they'll take care of it. Things do go wrong, but my experience with them has been in general, positive.

Well I hope so but as never having had any dealing with there customer support im just hoping for the best and that we can get this resolved quickly and without spilling blood

Finding it impossible to get a reply from the customer service , phone just rings and so far have had no response to emails , have contacted dhl who inform that item looks like it is lost or nicked :mad:
Don't really want to open a dispute but if I can't contact them it I will have no option

Hey, realise this is over the £350 mark but I think it looks a great piece of kit for £400, any thoughts.

I want to be able to watch films, play music, play football manager and at a push some editing.

Looking to grab a bargain for my lad for Christmas. Was looking at the dell mini 1011 or 1012 on the dell outlet.

He only uses for Internet access, youtube and facebook type stuff.

Plays the odd flash game etc.

Can anyone recommend something from the argos clearance maybe?

Not sure what is best to get. Dont want to end up paying £300 when I can get something for £200 that does the same. On the other hand I dont want to pay £200 for something when I can get something alot better for £220.

Any help appreciated guys

Hi, I am new to this site but have found it very interesting and informative. I have just been told my DELL Inspiron 6400 which is 4 years old will cost around £150 to fix, so am looking for a newer laptop instead.

What manufacturers are best or is it just down to spec? I am looking to spend between £300-£400 and am happy to buy A1 refurbs. I have seen this at pcworld : TOSHIBA Satellite C650D-114 - £399 (it does not say if it has webcam which I want)

My daughter has a Toshiba and to be honest we have found it much better than the DELL. Also I am not a fan of Vista so would prefer a Windows 7. I will use it partly for work (spreadsheets, WP etc. and for surfing, photos etc).

Is it a good laptop or has anybody got any better spec laptop for the money or similar for less money.

I would be very grateful for any comments/suggestions.
