EDIT: I think this is the black one (blue link above) http://www.dixons.co.uk/gbuk/acer-aspire-5750-15-6-laptop-black-09933620-pdt.html0 -

Does anyone know if the code works for this laptop? The site says the code is for items above £399 and this one is exactly £399.0 -

Thank you for your reply Grumpycrab. Have spoken to my son and he says the game he really wants to play on the laptop is World of Warcraft - it isnt an action game.
He says the laptop needs only the minimum spec to play that game which is:
Windows
Intel pentium 4 1.3GHz
or
AMD Athalon XP 1500+
NVIDIA Geforce FX
or
ATI Radeon 9500 Video card or better
25Gb available hard drive space
1Gb RAM
4X DVD ROM drive
I know very little about laptops or computers in general - is a machine with the above spec likely to be over £350? Anyone have any suggestions of one that has this spec? Thank you in advance for any more help.0 -
I would really appreciate some help please.
Do you think the Asus 5750 would be better than say a Toshiba/Samsung/Dell?? I know the others would be lower spec but I'm thinking about build quality.
Any advice gratefully received.;)0 -
