It's a decent laptop at a good price and will do all those things you want easily.
Don't forget to register it on the Toshiba UK website and if you want to extend the warranty to 2 or 3 years, it's cheaper to do it direct with Toshiba.0 -

Don't be misled by the description. It will be as new. If it isn't send it back for a full refund.
But if you don't want a built in webcam and microphone, pay the extra £25 to not have them.
My advice? Try my suggestion first. If you don't like it for any reason, send it back within seven days of receipt for a full refund and then buy the one without a webcam.
Built in webcams and microphones are standard equipment, as 'web chat' and video and audio messaging are so prevalent.0 -
Hi, my mum is looking to buy a laptop for my sister for Christmas and has asked me to find one for her.
She wants to spend no more than 350 so i thought of this thread.

first of all decide which screen size she needs. one is 13 inch and other are 15inch.
out of two 15inch laptops the argos one is better in my opinion..personally i will take an intel processor over AMD processor any day....0 -

Not sure if anyone can help but i'm looking to buy a laptop.. budget is around 600..Needed for playing games.. surfing web etc.. I have come up with this one but am unsure if its a good deal?
Acer Aspire 5745pg Core I3 Laptop £620 (sorry can't post a link as i'm a new user).
I'm also unsure how good the graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M ..although I suspect its a lot better than the intel HD graphics??
