    Ahh, that's made me feel all christmassy... gingerbread... mmmm... I haven't baked that for years!

    Enjoy :D
    QB

    Hi QB :) I baked two batches of gingerbread muffins to give to people for gifts and I admit a couple found their way into my tummy :D They were luuuurvly 15881-Gingerbread-Man-With-A-Smiley-Face-Clipart-Illustration.jpg If you manage to get any time ( I know you're a busy bee!) then make some, make some! Too good not to :D

    We got our tree, was £45 reduced to £25 :jhaven't managed to decorate it yet thou :rolleyes: I did manage to wrap all the presents apart from DH's and had a lovely lunch round Nan's. So I managed half of what I wanted to do which is better than nothing :)

    Ohhh, I woke up to snow this morning! :snow_grin Very pretty

    P.S. Just managed to put £2.54 towards the OP fund :rotfl:

    SMILY4.gif a sleepy smlsave reporting in.

    I braved asda last night to get some veg to make a veg curry (very christmassy lol) and it was packed! I'm so glad I've done most the shopping although I am wondering if it's worth getting some black pudding for a treat.

    This is what I'll look like after Christmas! full-full-food-fat-smiley-emoticon-000646-large.gif

    Corr thanks optimistic and smf2, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too :beer:

    full-full-food-fat-smiley-emoticon-000646-large.gif - This is now what I look like after the xmas break! :rotfl:So I've got a fair bit to lose to look gorgeous in September when I'm being a bridesmaid. I need to go to the gym more regularly, take packed lunch to work, stop eating cheese and drinking wine!

    * joined AF challenge for 5 days a week.
    * have gym pass at £36p/month - need to go 3 times a week.
    * have drunk all the wine :rotfl:

    Remember me saying that I wanted to get the study decorated over xmas? Well, I did it :j We're shopping for bedroom furniture this weekend and getting the bedroom and stairway carpet fitted on Monday. :D Its going to be an expensive January but worth every penny.

    * Paint the bedroom - half done
    * choose bedroom furniture - DONE
    * get curtains

    I failed the £5k challenge by overspending by £600 :( So I'm set to try again this year with better results.

    * need to lower food budget
    * stop eating out so much
    * shop on Quidco more

    shy-shy-timid-timorous-smiley-emoticon-000447-large.gifyes I am and here's hoping my posts get a bit more regular from now on!

    I lost 6lb :j I've signed up to a six week pilates class at £30 which stared yesterday and I'm off to the gym tonight. I admit I forgot my lunch today buit I will remember it tomorrow! T'was left-over chilli con carne too.

    The bedroom is half painted with new carpet :rolleyes: and I plan to finish painting it this weekend. We ordered our bedroom furniture at a whopping £1800 :eek: but this at least was on sale and its our 'forever' furniture being solid oak. Thankfully MIL and FIL put £1000 towards it and we took £600 from our 2009 OP to pay the bill in full. So here's too 8-10 weeks sleeping in the living room :beer:

    I went through the entire kitchen yesterday and took an inventory. With a quick glance I can see at least 2 weeks worth of meals and I need to sit down to work some others out.

    I think I'm slowly getting organised again!

    Ohhhhh, i'm so sorry smf2! I must have transferred my 6lb to you :eek: Can you ever forgive me?

    Well I'm sat at home today as it snowed all last night and work have said that it's not worth coming in - which should be good news ... but I'm bored bored-anim-bored-waiting-girl-smiley-emoticon-000275-medium.gif If there were paint I would paint, or food I would cook.................

    ..............and I'm back :)

    Just got distracted by the paint colour cards. I'm finding it really hard to choose a shade of purple or two for the bedroom. Anyhoo DH (he's working from home today) has kindly suggested that if I'm bored I could always hoover, HOOVER I say! :confused: I've suddenly just remembered that I've got my cook books to sort through and my penny jar to count :rotfl:
