Thanks for all the well wishes :D I'm feeling all better now and managed to enjoy DH's Xmas party, the Clothes Show (spent £50) and Basement Jaxx.

You're not the only one I gave it to TPA, my morning chaffeur has it too and I don't remember snogging him either :rotfl:

Only 15 days till Xmas! I've just got to start the Christmas Cards now...urg...

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:He's DH's best mate who gives me a lift into work so unfortunatly I'm not famous.......but I am very distantly related to Flavia by marriage but I don't think that counts! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

No evening chaffuer :( unless you count Mum, Bro and DH :rotfl:

Got a Xmas buffet to look forward to tonight which is paid for and I shouldn't be buying too many drinks as I'm working tomorrow!

I've quite chuffed that I've been offered some overtime over xmas and am going to be paid in asda vouchers :) which means i can stock up the cupboards if i can resist the clothing section.

Ohhhhhhhh.... is it true that the ISA allowance will be going up to £5100? If so I'm all excited. not becuase i'll actually be able to save that much but it will give me the option to be more flexible with regards to moving the money around a bit! e.g. save £1000 for windows, take it out and there's still £4100 allowance to use!

I don't think its nosey :) I do drive but since selling my car I've got out of the habit as I'm too lazy to drive DH's, all that seat moving and stuff :rotfl:

I'm thinking of taking all my savings out of my ISA and putting them into a Lloyds incentive saver at 2.4% net, 3% gross, which is a lot better than the ISA rate at the moment. Can't help feeling I'm missing something though!

If you are 'lucky enough ' to be 50 before 6th April it applies now, otherwise from next tax year.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
