I've finally had the letter from the Libary sayign that the :money: 'Money Diet' :money: is in and I can collect it :T This could be fate that it arrived today as I've got myself in a pickle. I've spent £325.79 on the credit card  thankfully I closed the ING account (£70) and found an excess in A&L (£250) so that bill is effectivly covered BUT it looks like I've got to find another £200 from somewhere to pay for OH's wedding gift _pale_
I didn't think it would that much but then I obviously didn't research it enough - poo. Its more than I wanted to spend but I'm ultra happy with the work that's been done so far (can't tell you what it is as OH might find out) I do have the money in savings but I'm always sad when I take it outbut its my own fault.
The car also had its service yesterday £470  and here I was hoping that it woudn't cost much as we'd just replaced the tyres  Apparently the wheel bearings and water pump needed replacing.
On a good note the grocery bill should be small, the weather is nice and I did have a good weekend overall.
Will do number crunching tonight and of course read the Money DietCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Can't believe the low monthly spend on groceries, well done.
Regarding the other aspects, sometimes, "it" happens, so it's good to see you have the savings to cover it.0 -

For a quick update I didn't have to go into my savings for the £200 as I found an excess 'floating' in one of my current accounts  and I've read the Money Diet which has re-inspired me all over again
'Orrible Natwest said that we couldn't have an overdraft on our joint account as apparently as there was something wrong with our credit reportSo I got our free credit reports (ta Martin) which looked flawless so we paid to get our actual score, just to check, which was 999. Bl***y Natwest! Safe to say we now have our overdraft
I can't believe its almost the end of June already :eek:Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
