Not spent anything today although I should havebut the cafe didn't take card so my friend treated me

Aw I love liver onions and mash with fresh carrots and cabbage, not so keen on the kidneys though, unless they are in a pub steak and kidney pie:rotfl:

Well done with grocery spends, if I fed the family on beans on toast everyday I could manage a low budget!0

Wow, what an awesome grocery spend! I'm OK on my own, but OH just got back from six months away so I wanted to let him get whatever he wanted to eat. Hmmm... think we spent more than your month's spend in two weeks!
What did you think of Transformers2? Really enjoyed the original, was it as good second time round?Feb GC - £100 / ~£800 -
Hi, I'm back from a sunny weekend in Bournemouth
Spent loads thou!
I fed the family on beans on toast everyday I could manage a low budget!
Hi sarah, the film wasn't even close to as good as the first one  It still made me laugh and the fight scenes were good but they obviously could come up with a story line and so stole Indiana Jones'!
Anywhoo...I can't believe we're half way through the year:eek: I'm going to dig up my potatoes tonight and see what they're like - fingers crossed for a good cropCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

The potatoes were yummy
I think the pits weren't big enough and I had to empty two to get enough to feed us both - I know this for next time.
The grocery total for June was very good at £120.43but we need a serious shop this week to stock up on tea and coffee! OH has agreed not to buy alchol so this will really help
My personal spending however has gone haywireI've got to stop going out soo much.

I concur; SmlSave you need to do some penance for that enjoyment whilst we're all being good
All I did over the weekend was walk around all day and occasionally drink; it's tough when you do voluntary things in your community like stewarding events...
The downside - being called "the rubbish man" as I was clearing up at 2030hrs...
The upside - lost 5yr old girl rightly asked for help of a steward (me) in the crowd of about 3000 people at our music event, unable to find her family - reunited them in a matter of minutes
(You see I am a soft kind soul at heart despite what you all think of me!)0
