I concur; SmlSave you need to do some penance
 What would you suggest?

Phase 1 - Emergency Fund - Complete :j
Phase 2 - £20,000 Mortgage Fund - Underway0 -
The downside - being called "the rubbish man" as I was clearing up at 2030hrs...
Don't know if this will work for you but when I was on the Fete Committee at our kids primary school, at the end of the fete we used to run a rubbish collecting competition - prize was £10 for the kid who collected the most rubbish! Worked a treat:D0 -
Hi everyone.
Just popping in to say that I'm plodding alongplod....plod....
Good news:
Paid in full the loan at 4%It means that I now have £100 to go straight in savings! Am thinking that I might save £300 towards Christmas and then the rest will go in the ISA
ISA funds have finally been transferred into the 3.5% account - took long enough
I lost 3lb
Other news:
Venue and Photgrapher paid in full (good news as we had the money but bad cause surely i'm lovely enough not to have to pay?)
I'm going to make cupcakes tomorrow!yum, lemon ones, peanut butter ones and cheese ones
These are what I'm hoping to have at the wedding and I'm going to try them out on my work collegues friday as I have the perfect excuse to bring in cake - its my birthday! I'm looking forward to openign a bottle of champs
Bad news:
Bridesmaids still trying to kill each otherAm going to try and explain to them how much its upsetting me and threaten to 'fire' them if they can't behave (I'm praying they'll both be grown-up - please, please - otherwise I'm likely to lose my best friends and over £200!)
See you!Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Well done on clearing the loan and
about the bridesmaids - can't you just ignore it and pretend it isn't happening rather than have to discuss it with them? Does that say a lot about me :rotfl:I always avoid any sort of confrontation:D

Thanks evab
21 days to go.........
about the bridesmaids - can't you just ignore it
I'd love to ignore it smf2. I actually had a chat with OH yesterday and we've agreed to hold off having "the chat" with them and see how they interact tomorrow at the party. OH has promised not blow his top and fire them if he sees something he doesn't like and instead we will take them aside and have a word if we need to. sigh
Guess where I'm going in Setpember? The Fat Duck!Ohhhhhhhh....I'm looking forward to it
The cupcakes have turned out well and I made some muffins too......I think my firends are goign to kill me cause I think I like muffins more than cupcakes! They just look so much more tidy. Will see what Mum say's tonight.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Hmmmm, not sure
Bung us half a dozen of both & I'll give it due consideration
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
