Hi everyone!
I've just caught up with everyone's diary's but been too lazy to say hiStill feeling a bit rough from Sunday!
The hair trial was great fun MFNI wish I had more hair but it looked very pretty. I can't believe how long it took, we started at 10:30 and finished at 14:00 - not bad for £10 a head though. Also the girls all liked their do's and have offered to pay for their own on the day.....will have to wait to see if they will though:rolleyes:
The weather was gorg Stu, but I hear you weren't too happy with it? We've still got loads of wood to burn and even more food and drink to consume. OH goes crazy buying stuff for parties  he's sure they'll all die of starvation.
I'm sure the neighbours must think we're crazyesp if they saw us all dancing in the living room like crazy things  :rotfl:
Oh but Monday..........urgh _pale_

Never mind, we all need to live a little sometimesA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

What's all this nonsense about over-doing it with alcohol?
I'm long past the stage of noticing how much longer it takes to get over a hang-over now; that was in my 30s that I kept thinking how I could drink more and recover faster in my early 20s.... now, well I try not to overdo it, just 5pints and a few whiskeys before eating on a Friday night is enough to give me a sore head on Saturday. So little yet so much effect!
Woe is me at the thought of the passage of time....
>> reaches for the rest of his pint of Champion ale ('tis only a pint but it is 7.5%)
Seriously though, I can relate to all your comments above and you have to enjoy things occasionally
SmlSave, I can almost remember having more hair too, but now it's dry by the time I step out of the shower; surely I don't need more. Just think of all the extra costs - for cutting it, need to blow dry daily, use of more shampoo? Grade 1 must be the MSE answer (well it is for me) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Best wishes for the big day :T0 -

Poor Stujust 2 pints of whisky and lemonade give me a sore head the next morning
..I still remember a time when I didn't get hangovers! Oh to be younger again.....Grade 1 must be the MSE answer
I somehow doubt that OH would be happy if I chopped my hair offbut it could be a new look for me :rotfl:
Best wishes for the big day :T71 days to go

Been naughty and bought lunch again today, really shouldn't have as neither mine nor the joint accounts are looking very happy. Think we'll have to take some money out of savings to keep us going for a while

Oops! Lunch out... use any vouchers or anything slightly MSE:money: to make yourself feel better?!
Nevermind, if you need to go into savings, a few pounds on lunch wouldn't have made much difference anyway.

Does the boots card count? probably not
Had breakfast bought for us today by the boss which was lovely and will only need a snack for the rest of the day. (I had huge baguette) Spent my last £5 on some plants for a b-day present for a friend, I hope she likes them!
We transferred £300 out of savings to the account which will cover the DIY bills for this month (May) and provided we stick to the budget we should have enough next month (June) to cover the car insurance (currently on my credit card) and then in July we'll have the MOT bill - here's hoping the car won't need much doing to it.
With my personal account I've reduced the amount that goes into savings to give myself a bit of space and closed my ING account (complete with free £20) to cover the rest of the credit card bill which is half honeymoon deposit and half wedding present to OH.
Poor credit card will take another hit tomorrow as I'm going shopping for sandels, shorts, swimming costume and nice undies.
nothing planned for Sunday yetCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
