I've had it on (very) occassionaly. I bought a gas tank last week for my portable calor gas heater for the kitchen as it was really cold in there last week. Since I got the refill, it's only been on the once though..

Maybe we should start a new 2009 thread on it with a poll on.

I wanted the heating on in my mum's house. It's freezing! My house luckily stays really warm, so we probably won't have it on again for a few months.
  • Nope heating not on... Not going on. I have jumpers lol, and if it is cold we will throw log in the tin outside and sit out there

I will postpone hitting the switch for as long as humanely possible:D
My finances are work in progress.
    Normal veiwing will resume shortly
  • No not until Oct in our house, change the Duvet and dug out the Jumpers for the time being.

Was rather tempted the other evening when the temperature fell but dug out the fleece instead and put some socks on. Like Lottebear, we hang on until October 1st in our hour on principle, and even later if humanly possible. I don't intend to give these greedy fuel providers any more profit than absolutely necessary! Much cheaper to snuggle a hot water bottle than put the central heating boiler on.

Blimey, really? Are you all oop north? Nowhere near cold enough for heating down where I am. A new thread for 2009 would be a good idea.

Definately no heating this month for us.

Did buy a Cross trainer last week from ebay though and 10 mins on that means I'm roasting - will do my weight good plus will keep the heating off - OH doesn't feel the cold!

No heating on yet in our flat - it's been so mild down south, my flat is still 21 degrees!
