  • o heating on here but I have put my winter duvet on the bed.

I object to putting it on before November at the earliest.

At the moment I've refused to put my socks on but if the wind keeps up I will have to.

I am holding out on the heating still. The lounge temperature is only 15 and 13 outside so it won't be long before I have to give in.

no heating on yet, still 22c in house at 10pm!!! not bad for this time of year :))
  • This time last year we had students next door who had the heating on 24-7. Kept our house nice and cosy. Bit chillier this year but not put it on yet. The thick duvet came out at the weekend as did my thick winter socks - but not the heating yet.

My woodburning stove is being fitted this week, and it's going to run the central heating. I've been collecting, sawing and storing wood for weeks in anticipation, so have the heating on right now, thinking that it's the last gas I'll be using for central heating :):) Soooo looking forward to being warm this winter...

I live abroad so for me it's the opposite - I have just stopped having constant air conditioning on!
