Yeah I found a thermometer good. I got in last night and it was 15 in the front room (cool I think because of the rain). popped the heaters on for a blast and had the one in the bedroom on all night0

Ok sitting here in 2 pairs of socks, hoody, and with a blanket on my legs (hooray for the Ikea fleecy throws!) And it's only 2pm, how mad is that.
And the joke is, I got in last night from work at 10.30pm and was fine. Madness. I still refuse to have it on though! Well done on everyone for this challenge...I like my coffee black, just like my metal!

Will not put the central heating on at all this year ,I have a multi fuel stove in the back of the house which heats downstairs and also heats the bed room above ,in the front of the house I have an open fire which heats the room very well ,my bedroom has an open fire and I have been known to use it .
My coal costs me about £200.00 a year but some of that is also used on my narrow boat .0 -

My heating at home goes on when I get up and off when I go to work. I work for a local authority and the heating at work finally came on yesterday - rules are off from 1st May to 1st October. On means from some indeterminate time before I get in, until 10.00 a.m. By the time I get home at night I'm frozen and have to put the heating on at home again to warm up.
Still I suppose it keeps the rates down!0 -
I had to put mine on today. Couldn't suffer it anymore and I have Raynaud's so I think I've done well to get to 2nd October! (That's been since mid-March without heating!)Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

Hello
My OH made me put the heating on today, the house was really cold and even with a jumper, snuggly slippers and a fleece I was cold. Going to see how it goes you never know there may be a late heat waveTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Not been too bad today but getting cold now as I'm waiting for OH to get home. Keep opening the oven to get warm! :rotfl:0

It's pretty cold in here tonight. Got my jammys and robe on, and a blanket on my lap. But no way am I getting in the bath without putting the heating on- just for half an hour lol!
Oh, what do I do?
Put the heating on now and have a bath in a bit, or set the heating to come on at 6 in the morning and have a shpwer when I get up?
I think if I have a bath now, I'll be cold tonight.
If I shower in the morning I'll be cold on the way to work???????:oI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.
