It feels quite warm here. I'm still in T shirts and sandals in the day
It's getting a bit nippy in evening/early morning but I just need to slip on a long sleeved T shirt (not even a jumper) and I'm fine!
I'm going to try and hold out until 31 October  . But I have bought some thermal T's for us all to wear, so we'll only need the heating on minimum even then. The little hairy hands all have fleece blankets to snuggle in but I am on the look out for one for me and OH as we sometimes borrow theirs (when they're not looking)

Just popping in to say my heating hasn't been on yet and my original target was no heating until October so i have managed that but now i am going to go for end of October!
I really don't want them getting any more of my hard earned cash, i checked when my next bill is and i am going to be £85.85 in credit by the time my next bill comes round thanks to them upping the direct debits so i want the bill to be as small as possible so they might reduce it again (they reduced it by £5 last month after putting it up in June by £16.50 a month )Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Alas I'm stil the only poster on mse with the rosettes cos nobody else has passed 55k posts yet

Anyway... I'm in West London, Acton - part of the Borough of Ealing, also zone 2/3.
I went to Acton once on a night out, well I woke up there anyway
I had a sore back and vague memories of slipping on a step, pie in hand and falling back onto the edge of the step - not my classiest moment:o(there aren't enough blushing smilies)
And think if yourself as the person that has given the most support and help rather than sad.... (or something like that anyway)£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Still no heating for me..... in fact I must get the dog in soon and shut the patio door, I'd forgotten it was open! WE are mid terrace, so I expect the neighbours will keep us warm for a little while yet!'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0

i am mid terrace and both my next door nieghbours are at home with young babies so they have their heating on - and therefore i am absorbing enough heat through my walls to save a bit on heating.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

We've had the heating on for an hour in the morning and 2 in the evening for weeks now. I have only used my dryer 3 times since June though, and I always have loads of washing so i'm doing well with that. We're getting double glazing in next week. Don't have it at the moment (only moved here 3 months ago), and the windows aresingle glazed (and rotten window frames) and i'd forgotten how good double glazing is when you don't have it!
We've not had all the radiators on though - only 1 in the livingroom instead of 2. We've even removed one as we had 3 in the kitchen/diningroom! Not had it on in our bedroom or the boys one yet.0
