FP seem to be working better now with Halifax.

Just tried a 2500£ payment and it went through, tried a 300£ payment straight after and it worked as well.

anyone knows what the new limits are? their website is still quoting the old limits.

    Lloyds is £25K per day.
If you look at the UK Payments website you will see that BOS is no longer listed in the tables for FP value limits.

So I too assume as HBOS have moved accounts to the Lloyds system that the limits are as listed for Lloyds TSB ie immediate FP limit £25k per day.
Standing orders sent by FP limit £25K

That's what I was told when I called Halifax yesterday.

I can confirm it's (almost certainly) now £25K, being as I successfully FP'd over £18K to MBNA yesterday morning.

Much better than the old hit and miss system they had before.
