I am getting later on here every day, we have been all over the place, shopping, Doc's, chemist, DIY store PHEW had enough now, Not very OS for dinner tonight though had half each of MrM's Pepperoni Pizza....2 for £2 large and deep.....really tasty with beans, and still got one in the freezer, for next week.
No rain here yet today, its been quite nice really.Did all the whites this morning and hung them out under the back cover, they were almost dry when I got them in about 5,just 10mins in the TD and ready for ironing, pillow cases only, have to, they are 100% egyptian cotton.

Actually got the new surround for the fire today, I am really pleased with it, solid oak it matches well with all the rest of the furniture, a nice light clear oak, great another job done.

Kathy So pleased you enjoyed yourself yesterday. The album and cd sound lovely, few tears shed then hmmm x

    Hello!!! :hello:

Belated Happy Birthday for yesterday Mioliere!!!
Happy Anniversary Whatatwit and Mr Whatatwit!!

OH out this eve so I had simple beans & egg on toast for tea. Still got to make tomorrow's lunch. Got a load of washing done and on the indoor airer, this weather means I can't get it all done at the weekend.

We went to Alton Towers on saturday, it didn't rain too much and we all really enjoyed it, and OH's DD2 has discovered she loves the big rides!! I used tesco clubcard vouchers to buy 2 of the tickets; the other two I'd bought for £13 each whilst at Alton Towers with my friends earlier in the year.....hence it cost £26 for the 4 of us!!!

Yesterday was a write-off, I managed one load of washing, some light weeding and sorted a charity bag of clothes. The rest of the day was spent either in bed or watching tele on the sofa.....sometimes I need a crash day!

Hope you're all well, big hugs to anyone who wants one.

POPPYOSCAR cheers hun, mines not vitual  .

CANDYGIRL hugs to you and your DD.

    ALIBOBSY hello and welcome.

I am shattered. Went to lidl today and bought two bottles of wine to go in my Christmas stash :D . Have spent some time digging the allotment. Loads of red chillis there, have also dug up some carrots which are lush.

Dad had his cardiac catherterisation today and he has no problems with his heart at all, so we're all really pleased :T . Very late getting tea this evening as I gave him and Mum a lift home. DS had an eyetest today, looks like he might need glasses for schoolwork, but she wants to put some drops in next week to make sure. Might explain why he's struggling with his reading and writing.

Have nearly finished de-cluttering DS's room, never again  .

Am going to bed in a mo with a good book. Am reading Wintersmith by Terry Pratchett :D .

    Have a good evening all

    Evening all.

Have done some cleaning today. Don't want to get my hopes up but DH may be allowed home tomorrow. They are trying him on oral antibiotics but want to monitor it for 24 hours before they remove the drip thing. Fingers crossed.:shhh:

    (((hugs))) to everyone.

Had quite a good day today. Went to Mr T's this morning and spent a fortune, however have got 5 presents for friends and 1 each for my kids, niece and nephew so the Xmas shopping has started! Late for some of you lot on here but earlier than most people I know if my 'real' life.

Also am pleased as am keeping on top of the ironing - only 2 bits left which hadnt dried in time.

Just sliced up hm bread for kids lunches tomorrow, cheated and used a Mr T bread mix - it came out lovely but very tall so made slicing it fun.

Going to have a lovely surf and an early night.

    Poppyoscar - enjoy your celebrations.

I will cross everything for you Sammyjig

Would you like a bundle from the Lancashire coast? I've got plenty to spare! :D

Poppyoscar - thats great news

WAT - happy anniversary....is that Mr Twit's van I sometimes see outside Chaos Castle? :p

Celyn - fingers crossed for the job.....I wonder if anyone would miss Dr Jekyll if he fell into the freezer?

Candy - as if you didn't have enough to worry about, without DD's waste of space treating her like that. :grouphug:

PenPin - glad to hear you had such a full & enjoyable day :)

Wannabesybil - try & get to Fountain's abbey if you can, as there is lots of space for little bear to run around, and you really must take little bear & his dad on the steam train from Pickering to Grosmont, it's fab! And the Magpie Cafe on Whitby Harbour is the best place in the world for fish & chips ;) Robin Hoods Bay is very very pretty, but it's a killer climb back from the sea to the car-park.....

Not much OS going on tonight.....am sitting with a thick cardi on because I won't put the heating on :p am off to bed soon anyway, got a book from readitswapit to start :)

Kitchen will be alive tomorrow evening - mango chutney (which is the best recipe?), roasted tomato & basil soup and carrot & coriander soup (both for the freezer), and l/o rice with Y/S belly pork for my tea :)

Work still as mad - although my boss is now on leave for a couple of weeks so that should make things a little easier, thank goodness! Still no news on when my colleague will be back so still a bit in limbo & overworked

Am off now - love & hugs to all

    Floss xx
