Good morning! Grey and gloomy here today and w**k again tonight - pah! Had a fight with my friend, not a physical one (!) just a big disagreement, and as he's also my boss I'm not really looking forward to going in tonight! Ah well, sure it'll all get sorted out - all because I wouldn't take his unwanted advice, men, always think they know best!

Whatatwit and Mr Twit - happy anniversary, have a super dooper day!

Aussie - love the chickens, glad to hear bookie's earning her keep already!

Kathy -pleased that you had a nice day, sounded lovely.

Celyn - get some rest soon woman, else you'll fall over!

Dazi - good luck with the job hunting, hope the agency have some good news for you, it must be worrying for you.

Candy - hope your dd is feeling a bit better now that she's safely at home with you, and hope that things are resolved with her bf, sounds like he needs to do a bit of growing up - and fast!

Pam - glad you're still at home and feeling ok, hope you make it out, some fresh air is always nice when you've been cooped up, but take it easy!

Charlie's mum - duffle coat indeed, did make me smile though! Good luck with all the last min wedding plans.

Poppy - fingers crossed for you both, may you get the outcome you hope for.

Sam - hope oh is feeling a lot better today and that the drs have been visiting more regularly, well visiting at all would be good I guess! Hope his pain in under control now too.

Well have done sarnies and got the troops off to school, thrown on dw, wm and bm. Still not had meal plan from ds, think he discovered the perils of drinking scrumpy on Sat night! He's turned into a real Somerset lad! So dinner for the kids will be the soup I made whilst I was doing the veg for the roast yesterday, carrots needed using up so thought I'd just fling them in a pan and turn them into soup!

Hoovering and ironing were done yesterday so actually have some clothes ready to go today! Need to pop into town, but really can't remember what I was meant to be getting lol! Want to use up my constantly multiplying boots vouchers though. Think that'll pretty much take care of the day! Hope everyone has a good things happen today, and hugs to anyone in need xx

    Morning all.
Mioliere- I saw a tiny bit of Joanna Lumley last night but fell asleep :o as was tired!
    Whatatwit- Happy Anniversary :T
Well I have just finished my Flylady chores and started some of my own list too, although still plenty of mine left.
It's lovely here so have washing to hang out and more nappies to do soon (once DS takes off the one he has on!).
Back sore (again) so am being careful to get stuff one, but also rest it. Might take DS swimming this afternoon, although that depends on whether he takes a morning nap cos if he does then fine, if not then he will be sleeping in the afternoon!
Water is nice for the back but the running about trying to dry me and DS without him escaping is not so nice! We'll see.
Got some broth on cooking, for lunch, with some HM baguettes (a la MrsM GC).
Emptied out the potato pot on Friday (just small one)- thought there would be nothing as greens looked dead but there were loads- tiny ones and decent sized ones. Also got 1 big, 1 med and 1 tiny carrot from the seeds I planted (I accidentally destroyed the rest of the tops with weedkiller I think :o).
Ok, better shower now as needing it after the cleaning lark (after I do the kitchen floor that is!).
    xx OS
PS Hugs to anyone who'd like one :grouphug:.

Happy Anniversary to the Twits - have a lovely day!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes I'm still getting for yesterday!

    Fingers crossed, Poppyoscar!

RedRby - your poor DD; I feel so sorry for her. It shouldn't be happening at her tender age - it's spoiling the time when she should be really carefree.

Aussie - lovely chooks! How are DGS's hands?

Well, it's a lovely day here and the sun is beaming so I hop it is for everyone else too!

    See you later.

  • Morning everyone, cant beleive the sun is actually out here at the moment (Co.Durham) so i am making the most of it and getting the washing underway. First job of the day was packing my ebay parcels to go today, been a fairly quiet weekend but still sold 5 items so must be grateful!!! Lunch today is a nice bacon joint with pasta and cheese , mushroom sauce mmm.
DH is flat out as he has just done a 12 hr nightshift so wont see him till this afternoon, still it leaves me plenty of time for ironing and putting up a set of curtains at the french doors. Had a really good night out on Saturday only cost £15 so didnt break the bank and yesterday went to Mr T at 3.30 and got some reduced items for freezer so was worth it. Still debating whether to get a new staircarpet now or wait until Warmfront come to replace my gas boiler hopefully in a few weeks time, i know they are not putting radiators in but knowing my luck the workmen will arrive on the wettest day of the year and need the loo!!!
Hope everyone has a good day, take care xx
