Morning all:)
Didn't get chance to post yesterday, due to pregnant DD splitting up with her pathetic childish bf and coming home completely distraught, exhausted and still sick:( He has always been fine with her, they planned the baby, and since she found out she was preg , he has become aggressive, verbally abusive and has been drinking loads every weekend. This is the 4th weekend on the trot she has been shouted at, ignored and upset.Enough is enough:mad:  I have 3 bedrooms here all to myself, so i'm sure she'll be ok here until she feels strong enough to move out:o
Anyway haven't had much sleep, so OS wise wont be doing much except continuing to declutter, and taking a few things to the tip. Will prob go to MR TS too and spend my £5 NOTW voucher from yest:D

Belated Birthday wishes to Moiliere, sounds like you had a lovely day.
Big ((hug)) for you and your DD Candy
Sistercas I have two towels on the line, mainly because I was annoyed that OH had washed them yesterday, I would have waited to see if rained or not, he had TD on and I refused to let him put them in and hung them out, of course it rained and all day he kept saying, towels arn't drying are you getting them in putting them in the TD, I wouldn't give in so they are still out there dripping :rotfl:
Not been around for a few days, so ((hugs)) for anyone who needs them. Had an OKish weekend, managed to get SD out of her bedroom and go on the wii fit with us, so guess thats a point for computer games
Not sure what I'm doing today, am waiting for a call from agency, hopefully it will be for some work as things are beginning to get a bit tight!
Have a good day xxxxwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

Morning Guys!
Havent read the thread yet so hope all is ok.
My helper has cancelled this morning as she couldnt get a baby sitter and I said that I really didnt want him here plus he's not well. So she is coming tomorrow. Its such a nuisance!
I thought I was at the hospital today but its tomorrow then every other day for the treatments and infusions, so OH is taking me out as its my birthday Wednesday and Im going to be stuck at Kings! Not sure what he has planned but I have tarted myself up just incase its somewhere nice:D .....probably local greasy spoon:rolleyes:
WM has been on and DW done just needs emptying.
Friend has text and is off to the America on Saturday and wants a shopping list from me. So usual stuff I think and Twinkies this time too;) ....I freeze them and there lovely. I am really tempted to ask him to get a Louis Vuitton purse I would really like as its nearly a third cheaper over there and still have cash that my mum and friends have given me....I dont know what to do.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a nice day.
Take care.

:hello: Good Morning!
Off to the dentist this morning, fingers crossed it's nothing complicated (or expensive!)
If I feel ok I want to pop into the nearby Asda to look for those silicon cake cases to use in the remoska.
Stilll laughing at Aussie!:rotfl:The chooks look cute, we too are on a fox route though. Bottom of our garden seems to be a short cut for all wildlife but I think that may stop now we have builders at the bottom of our garden! (most folk have fairies! lol)

Have the house to scrub and some shopping to get this afternoon. I'm hoping to get the dining room cleared out too - I think it depends on how motivated I remain

Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Twit!
Hugs to Candy and DD.
Morning.I really shouldnt be on here -there is an absolute mountain of ironing to do.I put the bm on last night before I went to bed, then remembered I had'nt put it on the timer,(glass of wine too much,I think) so it was ready at 3am.Needlessto say I didnt get up.Its got a bit of a soggy bottom, but I think it'll be ok.DS1 calling after work for the malt loaf he requested.Nothing else planned really, must get to grips with the laundry today.
Right , off to take the dog out.Have a good day all.xx:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Morning Chums ,
well although its not raining at the moment its blooming chilly this morning .Was woken at 7.00 a.m. by the phone and the boiler servicing man telling me that he won't be here till this afternoon as opposed to 10.30.a.m. this morning . I was having a lovely dream as well.Still will switch things around and go and get some bread and milk from the shops instead. I shall only take enough cash to buy them then I won't get tempted:p
My eldest DD dropped in yesterday with a jar of Apple Butter that one of her friends had given her.She isn't keen on apples, so I have it, she knows I will try anything ,especially if its free:D and I'm going to try it on some toast in a moment. Any ideas what else I can use it for .A friend suggested that it could go on a sponge pud ?? Any one here tried it at all.
Think I will sort out the ironing this morning after the shops. That should keep me warm if nothing else. I try not to put the heating on until mid-September as once its on it like admitting that winter is on its way.:money: Extra jumper instead
Did well with my GC, as its a week since I went to the shops, and only spent £1.12 last week. Still shopping from the store cupbards and freezer.I think I will make some Leek and potato soup in the SC today as well as I have some spuds and three leeks to use up.
Last weeks veggie soup was delicious and went quite a long way.
Hope everyone has a good week.<<hugs to those in need>. and a bigto the rest of you.
JackieO xx
P.S. I too saw the Joanna Lumley programme last night and thought it was very good .
