Good mornig everyone  Very busy weekend (impromptu invitation for supper from friends on Saturday and a family birthday party on Sunday :j ). We came home from the party with a huge doggy bag, so it's salmon quiche, salads, bread rolls, chocolate roulade, lemon cheesecake for supper :T The meal plan is now all over the place - never mind, most meals can be delayed
Happy Anniversary to the Twits :bdaycake:
Aussie - love the chooks! Hope DGS is feeling better.
DH went out yesterday evening, so I got my needlepoint out for the first time in ages :T I may need to get a magnifying lamp, though - I'm getting old, and my eyesight is getting worse :embarasse
It's overcast, but dry here, so I'm planning to get into the garden. The lawn needs mowing  and I have a fair bit of harvesting and tidying to do.
OS jobs for today:- mow the lawn
- ironing
- clear the grate and fill the wood basket
- dust and hoover downstairs
- ice cake
- Scout accounts

Morning all,
Not raining here today, although I have just seen the weather and they have put out severe weather warnings for the rest of the week  , think I will try and get all my washing done today.
DD slept in with me last night, as she had one of her migraines, she was sick several times and I wanted to keep an eye on her,OH got in her bed, where she was sick so much her stomach was empty and growling all night, so I made her cereal, with fruit and some toast this morning which she wolfed down, will start a diary of her migraines today so that I can show th Dr.
We went out to the ploughing show yesterday, drove all the way there, only to find it had been cancelled  , nothing on the internet about it, and no signs along the way, so we took little dog out for a walk instead, and OH and I managed to pick about 3lbs of blackberrys, they were very few and far between, and it took us ages, so I have got some apple out of the freezer and will have a go at making some jam today.
Roast lamb for dinner, had a quick pizza yesterday as we did not fancy a roast.
Kathy glad you had a nice day yesterday xx
Celyn, hugs to you, try to get some sleep, you will make yourself ill x
Poppy, good luck to your OH today xx
Happy Anniverary to the Twits :T
Aussie, you are naughty, nice chooks xx
Have good days all xx0 -
Morning.
Happy Anniversary to the Twits.
Aussie, can't see the chooks at the mo so I've bookmarked the page and will have another peek when I've run Adaware, Ccleaner and Super-summat-or-other, I had this problem the other day with pics and once I'd run those programs it all worked again.
We put the greenhouse frame together last night, it's in the middle of the garden at the mo. We can't put it in it's proper place til the leeks in the veg patch and the toms in the other greenhouse are finished. I can't wait to put the glass in.
My smilies aren't working so this post looks a bit miserable lol.I am a coffee bean0 -

Morning all,
Happy Anniversary to the Twits - have a lovely day!!
Mioliere, sounds like a really lovely day yesterday
PoppyO, thinking of you & keeping fingers crossed for you & OH.
Celyn, methinks you are working too hard..... try & take little "microbreaks" of a couple of minutes here & there, just to stop & breathe for a few minutes, focus on nothingness, rather than just keeping going non-stop....
Redruby, what a pain about the showHope your DD is feeling a bit better this morning, definitely keep the headache diary.
Got to get a couple of tyres put on the car this morning, then hopefully across to Brighton Marina to meet some uni friends for coffee.
Filled in millions of drawing pin (& other) holes in youngest DD's bedroom wall yesterday, made sudden decision it needs painting before her new wardrobe (and mine) arrive in a couple of weeks and before I put her shelves up!!! If it stays dry over the next few days (some hope..) I will try & get my cabin painted with wood preservative too. Got sage green & cream.
Better think about dinner later too & look in the freezer.
Meantime, off to chivvy up DD's - oldest starts college properly today.
Have a good day all (((((((((hugs)))))))))) for all those needing them.Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)0 -
Hello everyone, cant believe it, its not raining! whats happening!! Weather forecast predicts a dry day, hope so. did not want to get up this morning, always feel this way on a Monday and dreading what i am going into at work. Just feel like I am a hamster on a tread mill at the moment, but it pays the bills. Probably going to have meatballs tonight with spaghetti.
Happy anniversary to the twits, hope you have a lovely celebration. Have a good day, duddles x0 -

poppyoscar hope your OH gets the result you want.AussieLass wrote: »Bookie with the large deformed breasts is on the right.
Aussie :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Glad the girls are earning their keep.
W**k today for me and I'm on my own. So, I do not foresee a very busy day ahead - think of it as a sort of protest at being left on my own again.
Remembered to put the BM on before bed last night so woke up to the smell of fresh bread. Yum. Will have some for breakfast shortly.
I stayed up to get the result of the Murray v Nadal game. Could not believe that Murray won the match! :T Wonder if he can now beat Federer?
Today is supposed to be the driest day this week so I think when I come home from w**k I will strip my bed and get the duvet set washed and *hopefully* dried on the line.
(((hugs))) to all who need one and :hello: to all those MIA. Please post soon. Have a marvellous Monday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."
