MOJ2 big hugs and i hope DD is ok.

So far kids all lifted, homework done and feed, got a letter about my other course and it starts monday.

Now need to get hubby's dinner on and run the hoover over the living room.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j

because they're not "boffins or geeks"

Ahh well, it's all a learning curve tho eh??

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Too cool for school!!! OMG I remember being that age and I am sure I must have been a boffin and a geek! Glad she's home safe though ;)

  • Thanks MrsV I'm relieved she's ok too. I was so caught up at that age between being a 'geek' or being 'too cool for school' *sigh* We've talked about this being her first experience of peer pressure, and sometimes, it isn't a black and white choice. She really didn't want to hang about at the bus stop, but she really didn't want to go on the bus by herself either!!!  *sigh again*

    Right..... in my HHC I....
    Unloaded and re-loaded the DW
I S&S the hob, and kitchen surfaces
I vacuumed and de-cluttered the stairs
Dusted the pictures on the stairs
De-cobwebbed the walls around the stairs
    Cleaned the wok
Oh... and emptied the dyson.... yuck, hate that job!

  • I've got some health issues generally (ooh long story) but am chuffed :D as even though I had a faint when I was out still managed:

Put Vaccuum cleaner back together after cleaning it yesterday
Vaccuum living room, hall and landing
Damp Dusted sittingroom (I've got Asthma so find this easier)
Got cat food when we were out
Putting a couple of things on Ebay and the rest on freecycle

  • been a good day for me so far!!
Little girls bday today (7) so was up until silly o'clock wrapping pressies then took them all to school
sat with OH and sorted out bills account, they are all paid and up to date until end of month and feeling rightly proud of THAT considering my previous financial problems
printed off some photos for my 4yrs scrapbook he has to make ready for when he starts school, popped to town for nit lotion (blasted things-little girl suffers constantly but they never touch the boys!!!)
had a snooze for half hour!
picked up kids..did birthday cake thing with daughter then packed her off to her dads for a couple of hours then...
    deep breath...
hoovered, loaded dishwasher, made beds, took everything that was downstairs and should have been upstairs, up! changed the babys nappy, wiped the kitchen sides down, went dog poo collecting in the back garden (not my fav job ugh!) and caught up with the thread today!

you've all been doing marvellously and i love how you share little bits of your lives with us, a real virtual community

    Woo Hoo - no rain. ...... today:rolleyes:

Aiming to be back on track today, I love my list getting crossed off. (sad, I know) :o

Valli I tried, I really did, but to be fair, my house needed so much doing, that shining the sink for how many days, and reflecting on how proud I should be that I'm dressed with a shiny sink, really wasn't going to cut it!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

But to be fair, I'm sure it works really well for plenty of flyladies. ;)

Off to boot children into school.....
Please don't think I fly US style - that lot (That you have to do) frightened me to death - then somehow, (Memorygirl's thread I think) I found my true home - here!
