  • Spendless Your post made me laugh so much!! That's the story of my life!!!

I'm feeling very pleased that I've got my LR done, and I carried on around my friend... well, I was in the middle of a HHC .... what could I do?? :rotfl: I also hemmed the heavy winter curtains that got taken down and washed at the the beginning of the summer. (and shrank cos I washed them in the machine instead of forking out for dry cleaning!!!) So, I'm going to put those back up now, before it's time to pick the nippers up from school, my big girl's (11) coming home from senior school on the bus by herself!!!

Have decided on baked spuds for tea, even though I've just had one for my lunch :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I forgot how much I like them!!!! My OH, although would NEVER say so (he knows he'd get the plate wrapped round is head if he did)... does like a 'manly' dinner after work!! Baked spuds never seems like enough of a dinner too me....:confused: What do you lot think??

Just got home from shopping, I now have shoes with no splits straight across the soles, have sorted most other 'out of the house' things, unfortunately laundry is about as far as I got with housework.

    Dusty try www.chartjungle.com

We were wondering why council people were down near the river yesterday, now we know why, the place where the little girl 'went down the drain' is very near us, press everywhere at the mo. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/wear/7604252.stm she must have been absolutely petrified. TBH I never have trusted puddles, but this will make me even more cautious.

Was considering doing the lawn before we go out this evening but the gardens are still like a bog, I just nearly slipping hanging washing out :o think they might just have to wait. DS2 needs collecting at 3.15pm, nearly paniced thinking was 3pm, so hoping his first day has gone ok. DPs gone out on his quad which he's just taxed again, happy as a pig in poo
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Lil_me - I was just hearing that story on the news - how scary and amazing at the same time.

SS re jacket pots we have the following
    Beans and cheese on top
Or take the potatoe out, mix with cheese and sometime a bit of chopped up ham or bacon - back under to grill with salad on the side
Or make some cheese sauce with some leeks and put that on top again iwth salad.

I've got rid of another 5 large carriers to charity/friend
Got some chicken and carrots for tea
banked some change into one of the kids accounts
    paid the papers
just baked some scones for the kids for after school.

Need to dash now - Lil_me thanks for the link I'll take a look when I get back from school run

Poor soul! Hope you don't have too long a wait.

Right, taken LFD out, met DH for lunch and been shopping. Just had a cuppa so time for a HHC methinks 15.45 to 16.15 then into the shower.

    Anyone up for it?
