My motivation has gone AWOL - I was up for clearing my list today and now I keep sitting down and picking up magazine.

Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything

Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen
Pounce upon the piles of coats and shoes and fling the ones that are no longer worn/needed/fit/wearable

    Level 3
    Wipe and water plants
Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it..
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    1. Filing.. find a pile and file it
    2. Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.
    3. Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
    4. HHI (did someone mention they needed one?)
eek I need this flylady thread more than I realised. Get up, log on thread, decide to do a daily and put WM on. More difficult than I thought cos the WM is full of wet clothes that need putting in TD (not a prayer of line drying this morning and don't curently own an indoor dryer:o ) BUT TD is full of clothes that need folding/sorting. This will make a 1 min job 10 mins and don't have time- decide to leave till later.

Walk past DW decide that will be full of dishes too and stack dishes up on work-top instead.

Take kids to school, youngest falls over and makes knee bleed, refuses to walk any further, eldest sulks cos I tell him to go to junior playground by self, cos I need to console youngest. Look across at unstressed friend who regularly walks from other end of next village to school, a good 20-30 min walk away and wonder how she manages it when I can't get from our house to the playground - a 2 min walk without mishap.

Come home, drink large mug of coffee and start tasks. I need to de-clutter the floor before hoovering and can't bring myself to hoover before dusting, it's too alien to me, even if you are using a damp microfibre cloth, which I'm not cos I can't find any, or any dusters, or any furniture polish come to that.

Decide to have an attempt at pulling my sofas away to vac under. OMG:eek: this is normally hubby's job, ponder when it was last done, dump all the contents from under the sofas on the table ready for sorting. Clean windows and wipe skirting boards, no way am I moving them again any time soon, so best clean there now.:p Move hubby's jacket to wardrobe, amazingly that is the only rogue coat we have on the coat rack.

Look at level 3 the only 'plant' we own, a dried display of pine-cones, contemplate throwing it away:D decide to hang on till we've decorated but the list says water/wipe so dip in washing up bowl and hope for best. Go back to table where I dumped under sofa stuff, bin most of it.

Extra mission- look at bedding left from de-cluttering last week. Wonder where the charity bag is that I can put this in for collection tomorrow, can't find it- go and ask neighbour if I can add to hers.

Go back to dishwasher discover it was empty and could have had dishes done by now:rolleyes: fill it, come on here to post update. Next to make myself sandwich and visit my parents this pm, catch you all tomorrow.

    xx

nearly newbie - (hugs) welcome back.

triker - how horrible. I know how you feel as we had our car blown up by an industrial firework ... wed only left it 2 mins earlier to go into SILs house - hadnt even got our coats off... had to stand and watch it burn till fire brigade came... wed only had it 4 months and got back £500 of the £3k it had cost us (which we still havent paid off yet as its on CC) and havent been able to afford to replace it since and that was nov 5th 2006.. :(:( Ended our business too as OH was self employed painter and decorator so we needed the car and all his kit was in it too... they never got them scumbags either... and to this day it still upsets me.. cos we lost everything that day really, and was start of most of our problems :(

Anyway.... slept in... so no flown yet as just been pottering in my pjs :o:o:o Gonna get DD dressed now too and consider taking her to nannys so i can actually achieve something today :rotfl:

I've never read this thread before and I'd like to say THANK YOU!!! A day which was destined to be completely wasted apart from a bit of batch cooking at tea time has not been completely wasted. I've not done all that much by most people's standards but I've hoovered downstairs and halfway up the stairs (as far as it would reach), cleaned the kitchen window which was minging because the cats seem to think the little top window is a door, cleaned the bathroom and dusted everywhere including upstairs - usually a self-dusting area (IMO anyway!).

    So yes, thank you!

Been to butchers and post office, cleaned out guinea pig and rabbit, spoke to vet, put washing on line and refilled wm (can nearly see all of the hall floor now).:j

Vet wants Bo down tomorrow morning and he's to get nothing to eat tomorrow morning so i think (hope) they will xray him.

Right now to sort the utility room and put some things in the attic out of the way.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
