((((hugs)))) squiggly
((((hugs))))Sammy - you've had some really good advice here. Thinking of you & your DH
Sistercas - my in laws come next weekend but are insisting on staying in their camper van and have booked into a site (yippee). They are on their way to Scotland on a touring hol so it will be a brief visit. I was unhappy last time they came though - they usually have our bedroom - my underwear drawer had been opened and wasn't properly shut. I felt very invaded. It's a massive heavy chest of drawers and quite stiff to open and close so wouldn't have been 'accidental'. I had been really down and off work and was on anti- depressants at the time, which I had popped into the drawer to have them out of sight <sigh>. I find them both a bit of a challenge. My F in L is incredibly opinionated. Anyway, good luck with yours!!!!
Roast chicken on the cards today although DH has announce he'd like to go out for lunch. |It's just the 2 of us here, doesn't often happen at weekends, so |I can see the temptation. Don't know. We'll decide later.
Ironing to do for stuff for the week and will also sort out bedding washing from the single beds.
Enjoy your Sunday folks

:bdaycake: Moiliere - you will be frightening the "babies" on here, when they think their Mum's & Dad's are . . . . Especially with a DS1 @37! Birthday wishes to him too and anniversary wishes to you and DH.
Sorry not managing usual posting, I am trying to read the thread but scanning so fast, forgetting most, however:
Silvercharming - our Avon lady got hererself a free emaill address (yahoo/hotmail/googlemail) with her first name then avon i.e. maryavon@ ... which was very useful for such as myself when I worked full time+ and never had looked at the book when she came to collect it. She then sent out a reminder a couple of days before the order was due to go in. It also meant she had to go out at differing times, evenings/weekends for the likes of me and daytime for those at home.
Sammy - (((hugs))) words fail me, though no surprise, been there and seen it with my Mum. What amazes me is why on earth he needs to be in, miles away from you, when they are not even staffed with Doctors! You need to complain, especially as the wrong dosage given.
:grouphug: to everyone else, still chasing my tail, work should resume on the bedroom tomorrow, keep your fingers crossed everyone.

Morning, Happy Birthday Mioliere and also Master Mioliere (isn't it also the anniversary of the day you and OH met
)
Sammy, at least a Dr came to see OH even if they didn't achieve much. Is it possible a Dr came when OH was dozing the other day and just 'looked' at him, although the notes should indicate that. Hugs to you and the kids.
N9eav, did your wife have any luck in finding work, or she waiting for some agency stuff.
It's fine here at the moment and I've run out of milk  well the bit that's left has turned so I'll hot foot it down to the Co-Op for some and a paper. Think I might also get the News of The World I'm sure there's a Tesco voucher in it £5 off £30 I think I saw on the grabbit board.
I might try a different Boots today to spend some of my vouchers and Mitchum money off coupons. I caused havoc yesterday and the vouchers seemed to multiply.
Better go for the milk....back soon.....

He wasn't dosing, his mum and dad were there at the time they said so definately no doctor.
Good news, the doctor came back this morning :T
She said that the pain he was getting was not to do with the cellulitus and it wasn't normal  . She said she would go away and think about it and come back. At least someone has seen him I suppose.
Thankyou all for your kind wishes and advice, I will be making a formal complaint about his treatment but just want to get him on theroad to recovery first.
Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIOLIERE, have a lovely day xx:)Do more of what makes you happy:)0 -
Morning all
It's chilly here, tipped it down overnight, now just grey, windy and cold. There is no way the heating is going on. Cats woke me up at different times to go out last night, otherwise had a good sleep.
OH now in bed, plan today to do ironing, help DS with his homework and take him swimming later. Shall take him to PizzaHut after, as have printed out their voucher.
SAMMY I agree with Squiggly, the standard of care is just not good enough, start with a senior nurse and progress to PALS. Hugs to you.
SQUIGGLY hugs to you on this sad day.
KATHY Happy birthday  , have a lovely day.
Big hugs to anyone else who needs one, CANDYGIRL glad your DDad enjoyed his day out.
Have a good day all.

Happy birthday mioliere :bdaycake:
sammy - huge, but gentle (((hugs))) to you and your DH.
Not much happening here. We've got washing drying around the house as it's so miserable outside. I'm trying to hold out from putting the heating on until at least 1st October. On Friday night, whilst watching Midsomer Massacres we had the duvet downstairs and snuggled down in that. (needless to say, I never did find out "whodunnit"!)
Not sure what we're having for lunch today - probably a soup of some description - and tonight we'll be having vege lasagne. Loads of veges need using up, so the soup will probably be vege soup too.
A letter has also arrived here for the previous tenant of the house (we moved in 14 months ago). In fact, since the day we moved in we've been getting his post. Unfortunately, it looks like this one is a debt collection agency. (I googled the return address). Obviously, I'm putting it back in the post with "Not known at this address", but can someone reassure me that we won't have big burly blokes knocking down our door wanting our tv? It's making me a little nervous.........
