  • I like to remove all jewellery - glasses - everything before getting on the scales - every little helps!!

Have been quite good this week but going out this evening with friends - planning to be good and stick to vodka and slimline tonic but I really fancy a bit old glass of wine!

And try and go to the loo before a weigh in Ha ha!

I started wearing the same things every week but then they got too big :) so now I just try and wear similar things. I once weighed all of my clothes but decided that was a bit obsessive!

I think if you use the same scales each week whether at home, boots or ww then it gives a true picture! And at the same time too. I can be up to 3lb lighter in the morning! But I weigh in in the evening :(

after being distraught about my weight on thurs today kids 'made' me buy biggest freshly baked bread from Tesco - still warm!! - for a £1 so very MSE and it was huge - was being the word!! and then we went to a BBQ I avoided the bread burgers and sausages and had a chicken drumstick and salad and then 2 chocolate brownies jumped off the table into my bowl by themselves !!! it would have been rude not to eat (they were good though) and then DH brought a chinese takeaway home with him tonight and the mushrooms noodles were calling - feel stuffed now and dare not count up the points - oh well tomorrow is another day!!

Worse thing is my son took a photo of me on my phone and I could not belive how wide i am and how my head seems to small for my body. Vegetables only tomorrow i think!!

Oh and combining WW with DFW I am going to cancel my monthly pass and help out at the meeting where I will be able to weigh in for free! :)

Not a bad idea! I've been a WW clerk for about a year and a half now- and when I think what I'd have paid for weekly meetings in that time... it's scary!

Another DFW aspect of helping out is that you do get a teeny bit of money for doing it. It's a really tiddly rate- but every little helps. Currently the leaders take out 20p per person who attended that meeting on that day- plus another 20p for each new member- then the total is shared between the clerks. If you're at a very small meeting like the one I help at, it may only be a couple of quid a week- I tend to average about £2 per week. Some clerks use that to buy a box of the WW bars, or other goodies- or a magazine. I take mine home and put it straight in my sealed pot for Christmas. By December it will have added up to a decent amount (with the other bits I add) and it's money I don't miss putting in.
If you get to help at a really busy meeting, you could take home a fair amount, depending on how many other helpers there are.

Oh- just a 'by the way'...... grab the Skinny Cow ice cream on sticks from Asda if you can- they're only 99p in our Asda (I have a horrible suspicion that they may be phasing them out)- the choc ones and the choc and mint ones are only 1 &1/2 points per ice cream. If you can get the fruit ones still, they're only 1 point. REALLY scrummy!

Snack a jacks slightly salted popcorn is only 1/2 a point a bag- but our Asda doesn't seem to do them any more. Anyone know if they still exist?

I've done quite a bit of ferreting around for cheaper low point snacks and found quite a few- so I must try and remember them and post them here. Great though WW is- cheap it isn't.
Conquering the debts one penny at a time.....
