Can I join? I really need the motivation, and I don't really have the money to go the WW meetings (with a wedding to save for and two children) I'm also wondering how much attention you all pay to BMI? I'm five foot three and a half (round up to four inches) and according to BMI I should weigh between 10 and 10 1/2 stones, which is about six stones or 38.10 (roughly). Also I'm sick of being big, I've spent most of my adult life overweight and am throughly fed up of feeling self conscious and awkward all the time. I always think everyone is looking at me, the last time I looked in a mirror I was horrified, so I avoid them. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Good luck all!!:A :

Of course you can join us siren! It is hard, and a long journey to lose weight! I've spent so much of my life being overweight but am really enjoying the results of my journey so far. The BMI thing is a good guide I think. WW online gave me a target of 7st 10lb! Never! So my new one was 9st 7lb - possibly achieveable! I'm half way there and feel absolutely fabulous! A bit too fab as I've come to a bit of a standstill but watch this space!
Look forward to hearing how you do!

...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

I feel sorry for him, its not his fault if he needs to 'big' himself up to make up for his 'small' shortcomings.....0
