    Think I will ask about this on Sunday, as could do with the extra money not going out of my account, plus it would give me an extra incentive to go each week as wont want to let my leader down.

    Today I have been really good. I've got 3.5 points left this evening, trying to save 2 though as had a bad day on sunday so trying to make up for it :rolleyes:

    Tomorrow I'm trying to pluck up the courage to go to aqua aerobics, never done it before but always fancied trying it, just hope I can get over lack of confidence.

    Anybody have an idea how many bonus points I'd earn doing an hour aqua aerobics - might motivate me to go?

    I would allow 3 bonus points for that, but it does depend on your weight and height, I am 5foot 5 and 11st 8.5.

  • i'm just about to go tot up my points and have a snack.

    some ppl in my group were saying that you tend to lose weight better if you eat all your points and dont do tons of exercise (assume this means eating bonus ones too). apparently if you do loads of exercise when on a diet your body thinks its starvin and hangs onto everything. i used to diet and go to gym and it never worked and i didnt lose weight so it might be true lol

    Morning everyone! Hope you're all good.

    Lysasparkles, they might not be losing pounds because they are converting fat to muscle and muscle weighs more than fat BUT they will be losing inches and the weight will come off on the scales in the long term. I like to measure myself (tops of thighs, tummy, arms etc) then when the scales stay the same you see a difference in your shape - there's nothing like the feeling when you realise your thighs are really getting smaller and it's not all in your imagination!! x
  • phew..caught up and added more newbies!

    yea i agree that it will be fat turning to muscle, doesn't bother me if i tone up and dont lose as long as i lose eventually. might dishearten some people though :( definatly gotta try things week by week and see what works for you in the long run :)

    I thought about that, I'm only 5foot 1, but just under 13 stone, so though at a guess 3 points.

    and thank you poorandindenial for the encouragment, my friend used to do it and loved it, jsut dreading getting into a swimming cossie - it's been a long time!

    will let you know how i get on

    snack a jacks 2.0;
    0 point soup;
    40g cheese 4.5pts
