Hi Everyone
I'm a weightwatchers member and have been for a year now, slid off the wagon dramatically over the last few months and piled 1 stone of the 2 stone I had lost right back on. I am firmly back on and hoping for my 1st weight loss in weeks at WI tomorrow night. I also have a monthly pass and get the esource for free online on the WW website which is really useful. I also got a subscription (as a pressie) for their magazine which has some great recipes in it.

I do want to lose another 35lb though, to take me to 9 and a half stones and am really strugglingI've hit a plateau and it's got tough.
Money worries are making it harder and I am trying not to comfort eat but finding it hard not too. I use my 'before' pics to help but I'm flagging.

Wow Sarriep - 35lbs is great!!!! Sounds like you've done really well. The idea of before photos is good. I hate to look at pictures of myself right now.
Keep it up!
I have a weigh in tomorrow am but don't think it will be great - choccie biscuits didn't help! Wish me well.

OK, so I don't actually DO WW (see my earlier post, #2 on this thread) but I do need to lose weight, urgently, I have just piled a load on and can't get into most of my wardrobe. Eating less is cheaper than eating lots and is definitley cheaper than buying a whole new wardrobe.
Will you have me if I just diet (healthily) and check in with you guys to do my weigh in??? Please, please, please. My weight has been getting out of control again.
If you will have me I want to make my target 28lb (once more with feeling, this is the same target that I gave myself for IA's lose the belly bum and debt challenge, I lost a stone and have piled it all back on)£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

I lost 2 stone at the start of the year but I have put 1 stone back on - I am so disappointed with myself but the past few months I have just eaten and eaten and eaten.
I have 70lbs to lose!!!! My god I have to lose a small child!!!!
I would love to do ww again with friendly support but what I need first of all is a great big fat kick.
I can however start here with my 0 point fail safe flexi food and guess what? It is very debt free wannabe.
In a frying pan, dry fry two onions, mushrooms (keep them chopped into big chunks) and 2 or 3 tins of cheap tomatoes and 1 tablespoon of ketchup, salt and pepper and a splash of worcestshire sauce (you can add chilli, garlic, dried herbs, balsamic etc if you want).
Simmmer this down until you have a thick tomato sauce and store in the fridge.
Use this for:
Pizza topping - add it on top of toasted pitta or even toasted crumpets with low fat cheese.
Quick veggie 0 point chilli - add chilli powder and rice
Pasta Sauce - add pasta (is very nice if you melt some low fat cream cheese in it too to make a creamy past sauce)
Soup base - add stock and some chopped basil and blitz for a lovely tomato and basil soup.
3 portions of veg - I like it served with scrambled eggs and potato waffles. Or on top of a baked potato. Or with a piece of poached fish or chicken.
I am sure that you can think of many other uses too. I tend to make huge quantities of this and then keep it in the fridge and use a little every day. If I have other veg needing used I chuck it in (peppers or courgettes etc).
God what a long post - sorry peeps£10 per day Challenge (Oct)

I would really like to join in too!
I started WW in May 07 and between then and Christmas of last year I lost 2 stone 5lb (so 33 in total).
Unfortunately I have since managed to put back on 8 lbI blame it on my boyfriend!!!
I have set myself a target of 15lbs loss by Christmas - this is more or less a pound a week... I currently weigh 10st 3lb, so my target is 9 stone 2lb.
I dont remember ever being that weight - maybe when i was 15!!
I have cancelled my WW monthly subscription as I just dont go. Have all the books etc and am weighing in on Monday evenings with a friend who is joining in with me. Will update next Monday with good news hopefully!!

Hello - I'm doing the single and in debt thread weight loss challenge and am thinking of using WW. A friendly thread like this would be brilliant! When I did WW before soups were a life saver - really cheap and easy to make and take into work for lunch too. Does anyone know how many points are in a rice cake? I've been munching them and should probably check before I get too carried away! Thanks!0
