I am so cheap I am photocopying the points tracker things!
I was thinking about doing WW mon to fri and having the weekends off?
I have until C******** to lose the weight! ( I won't type the Cword yet its only Septmeber!!!)
Do you think the Mon- Fri thing would work - I mean it would be slow but that is better then constant wagon falling offxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
buffy - im not sure, i think mon-fri might work as long as you dont go mental at weekends. or you could just save as many points as possible from mon-fri for weekends? thats what im trying. dont worry i will be doing exactly the same with the trackers!!!Aug £10 a day £0/£10000

OOh Buffy I'm not sure. You could do it the wendi way - calculate your weekly points then use less mon - fri so you can have extra at the weekends. I find if I've had a good week just a couple of bad days can set me right back to the beginning! Have you tried it before? (WW) it isn't too hard to be good! LBM August 2008:eek:Total debt £51914.74 Paid off so far £47,611 DMP started November 08 Current debt £4,303.73Proud to be dealing with OUR debt ! :T0

Hi,
I would be interested in joining - I have loads to lose, and today is my weigh in day.
At the moment, I am keeping a seperate 'thoughts diary' on my PC, which is for my feelings so that when I am at goal, I can look back at it, and remeber what a struggle my journey has been.
Take care

I am doing WW core plan, can't do the points thingy. I am also on the pound for a pound challenge.
Core plan works ok with DFW because its about veg and staple stuff like brown rice and cous cous, so you can do your own thing. I found the points thing works fine if you buy packet food but is really difficult if you cook from scratch.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

aha!!!!!.........we seem to have gone full circle........:rotfl:
For anyone remotely interested, Willsnarf and I both posted on the WW boards many moons ago......I made a comment about debt, and he sent me in this direction......where I have stayed ever since!!!!!
I still have the weight to shift though, and can't afford to go back to WW, so might have to join in this threadI won't be doing points though, I will try and do the core thingy again.
An idea for anyone trying points and the Mon-Fri thing - I was really successful on points (got all the way to goal) by simply adding up the total I was allowed in the week and using it as a weekly total rather than a daily one - so if I was on, say 20 points a day, I just typed up a sheet with 140 points available for the week and would cross them off as I went along. That way, I could have a big fat takeaway at the weekend and still be within points!!! Less restrictive than the wendy plan......
Will weigh in tomorrow morning.........Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I would like to join this thread to, been doing weight watchers points now for 5 weeks and have lost 5 pounds so far, coming off slowly but at least is it coming off. Got nearly 2 stone to lose for my wedding next April, but hoping to get a good stone off by xmas.
I would also like to know how people do ww the dfw way as it does cost a lot, especially if you are a snacker like me.
We could add the details on our signatures.
My weigh in today is Sunday's and today I STS(but I do have a cold at the moment)
