  • cafe nero mocha with whip is 3points; starbucks is 5

and I always ask for skim milk which would make above less; get funny looks when I ask 4 whip but every bit helps!

just realised that sounds like I ask to be whipped!

  • Hello - i am rejoining ww on Thursday - i am a serial rejoiner manage a few pounds and then stop and put it back on again. I desperately want to loose weight but always loose motivation. Can i join this thread to keep me on track and help me keep the spending under control one of the reasons i give up is the cost of eating fruit and veg all the time and not being orgainsed - this is stopping now.

I am now addicted to the DFW board and the old style board (hours seem to disappear very easily) so hopefully this time will be different.

I have 4 stone to loose but want to break it down into stone goals - the first stone being gone by Christmas.

    Good Luck everybody

i'm just about to go tot up my points and have a snack.

some ppl in my group were saying that you tend to lose weight better if you eat all your points and dont do tons of exercise (assume this means eating bonus ones too). apparently if you do loads of exercise when on a diet your body thinks its starvin and hangs onto everything. i used to diet and go to gym and it never worked and i didnt lose weight so it might be true lol

  • I'm not sure, I am just trying it out this week due to being determined to lose some this week. But I think the more exercise I do I will have to start using some of my points as I will get to hungry otherwise.
I think it's trying things out week by week and seeing what works and then looking back over your trackers if you get to a point where you have stopped losing for a few weeks, but hope I dont need to do that. :D

This is the only diet plan I have ever managed to stick with for longer than 2 days LOL, I think it is beacuse you can eat whatever you like as long as you stay within your points, and if you dont go over you do lose.

This for me means I can have chocolate, wine or a take away if I want to, just not every day :rotfl:

  • Today I have been really good. I've got 3.5 points left this evening, trying to save 2 though as had a bad day on sunday so trying to make up for it

Tomorrow I'm trying to pluck up the courage to go to aqua aerobics, never done it before but always fancied trying it, just hope I can get over lack of confidence.

Anybody have an idea how many bonus points I'd earn doing an hour aqua aerobics - might motivate me to go?

    xxx
  • Hi Snowdrop

I have no idea how many points but do give aqua aerobics a go, I used to go and loved it, I have been to a few different ones in my time and in all of them the people were lovely so get that cossie on and get in there!

  • Please can you include me in this thread. I lost 17lb with WW 18 months ago, but have put it all back on again.

I keep trying to kick start myself, but have no willpower. Hoping this thread will spur me on.

PS this is my first post, but I have been reading the DFW boards for about a year.
