Any one got any updates?
Quiet as a mouse here and its snowing like mad.Pawpurrs x0 -
Well the property transfer between me and my ex finally took place on friday, i have very mixed feelings about it all
but the plus point is i now have around £25k in the bank towards a deposit if and when i decide to buy again
There is a property close to work for auction at £38k, i have never heard of the area so it probably isnt too nice at the price!
Good to hear that people are still getting viewings and interest if not offers yet.0 -
At least you can make a fresh start Mark, and if its any consulation, I think you did the right thing, onwards and upwards eh!Pawpurrs x0

I've accepted an offer!
Mixed feelings - I think I'm giving up to soon (after only 10 days on the market!) and too cheap. But I felt like an offer was an offer. And it was only a couple of k under what I thought my minimum would be beforehand.
It's an investor, and he's going to have us as the first tenants. So I get to stay in the flat I adore without owning it through further price falls. We can then move out around the end of the year like we wanted without being tied down by owning the place.
Cash buyer, wants to complete fast. Sounds good but I won't relax until it's gone through. Having accepted a low offer I will categorically not be gazundered so any silly business later on and it'll be back on the market.0 -
Put a property on last week and had an offer yesterday at 20% below asking price. I'm in no hurry to sell as do not need to sell to buy as I only part own the house.
Will wait and see what happens over the comming weeks as peoperties are still selling. 5 of the 8 properties I have looked at over the last 2-3 weeks are now under offer.0 -
got a viewing tomorrow...first one in 2 months. fingers crossed.0

Some movement then guys!
Gave my EA notice today, considering going elsewhere, am hoping they may push it big time to try and get a sale but who knows
Congratulations sarah, hope it all goes through smoothly for you.Pawpurrs x0 -

Good luck with finding a new one! I think the EA's attitude makes a big difference. I interviewed four when we put ours on the market about a month ago. Two of them sat shrugging their shoulders, bemoaning the weak market and valuing my house £10-15K less than we thought. One was energetic and positive and said that they hadn't given up on anything. He sold it in 3 days for what we wanted for it. The lazy ones deserve to not be selling! For everything else, there's MSE :T0 -
Have to agree Janey - I went with the agent who was still chipper; realistic about the market but still upbeat. He convinced me he could shift my place - the others didn't.0

Hi
Nothing happening with me, spoke to the EA yesterday to change my mobile number with him & he said they have not forgot me but the only things that are selling are those which are really really cheap. Not even sure if it would make a difference if i reduced it as it's only on for 120K so i figure people would view it & offer lower I can't afford to go any lower than 105K because of the mortgage anyway. Seriously thinking about looking at renting it if my mortgage company will give me consent to let as I don't want to change the mortgage. I'm selling as i'm moving in with my partner & fed up of not been there all the time just want to get settled together, so i could rent it just didn't really want the hassle of any problems that might bring.
I have a feeling it will be a while before things get any better.
FeefeeLife's what you make it.:j0
